The ministry is fully an interdenominational ministry, and is a non-profiting organisation. The ministry was name according to the direction of the Holy Ghost;"NEW TESTAMENT EVANGELICAL OUTREACH MINISTRY" a.k.a. PREACH THE WORD. 2TIMOTHY 4:2. And was born out of revelation and conviction of God given to Evangelist(Pastor) Matthew O. Gowon, the convener of the ministry. And it started with four(4)

members. The ministry aim at taking the Evangelism to rural communities in Nigeria and its environs and beyond the sore of Africa. Currently the ministry's international headquarters is based in Lagos-Nigeria, where we have been carrying out our evangelical works to other parts of the country. It was inaugurated on the 2nd of May,2004



The ministry is fully an interdenominational ministry, and is a non-profiting organization. Its members are well season men of God who are spiritually Gifted in all field of endeavors and have passion for the lost souls; and are drawn from different churches. It drives its strength from the unlimited grace of God and our partners as well as private individuals who are looking for the opportunity to serve God with their money and resources.
