GOOD WOMEN ANNIVERSARY THANKSGIVING
Bible Reading: Colossians 2 vs 6–7

Topic: Rooted in Christ and rising in purpose.
Rooted in Christ is building up our lives firmly in Christ so as to be able to grow and face peacefully and strongly the challenges of life.
Before you can be rooted in Christ, we must be born again.
The moment you accept Jesus as your Saviour, you must be in accordance with the law and commandments of Christ.
You must be praying often.
Read the word of God and meditate therein.
Obeying God.
2 things to be rooted:
1. Be strong to the things of the world.
2. Being godly to the things of the world.
The prince of this world is the devil.
The prince of peace is Christ himself.
You can't be a child of God reading the words of God, obeying His word, praying often and nourishing your Christian life and still be following the devil. You can't serve two masters.
To be rooted, you must stand firm, be strong to face any challenges that comes your way. No matter what you are going through or what ever challenge when you are in Christ Jesus, He is able to settle things for us according to His promises to us.
HOW TO SEEK THE KINGDOM OF GOD
1. Going deeper in the Lord, Meditating in God's word.Accept God with your spirit, soul and body. Follow God's ordinances and commandments.
2. Unshakable identity
Meaning whatever the tribulation or whatever you are going through, let the world know that you belong to Christ; let your identity be made known in Christ.
The devil will never give you anything that will last long.
Job was an example of an individual who had an unshakable belief in God. He was recognised as a righteous man.
Are you rooted in Christ Jesus?
Hope you have not been shaken because of the problem you are going through?
Do not be wary.
3. Let Jesus be the source of your strength.
Whatever you are going through, depend solely on Christ Jesus. Tell your problems to God; He is ready to save us. Trust God.
