Are you Kingdom Employed?

“Now Joshua was old and advanced in years, and the Lord said to him, “You are old and advanced in years, and there remains yet very much land to possess.” (Joshua 13:1, ESV)

The words still apply today: “…and there remains yet very much land to possess.”

Many people have not had the opportunity to respond to Jesus Christ. It is the responsibility of each generation to use the means at our disposal to reach others for Christ. We have a lot of work to do.

We also have work to do related to our inner person. We need to be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ, strengthened and filled with the Holy Spirit as we navigate through life.

This is one of the reasons Paul must have said, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.” (Philippians 3:12, NIV) To know Christ and to be an effective witness for him is a most worthy objective.

One of the benefits of pressing on to grow in our faith is explained in this passage:

“But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9–10, NKJV)

God prepares things for the person who loves God. He can reveal them through his Spirit and his Word as we SOAK, SOW, AND FLOW with them. By obeying his commandments we show we love him. Obedience places us in a position to be blessed by God.

All power belongs to God; he can open doors of opportunity if they are needed. He is the God who sees, and he is the God who provides. These facts alone make us want to bring all aspects of our lives into conformance with his will.

Today, ask yourself:
Have I spotted the inner and outer territories in my life that God wants me to possess in his name?

My Jesus Story

It was an unusual prayer service tagged '24hrs in His presence' at ECWA Badia around 2002. The man of God was on the pulpit ministering with an unusual vigor. I felt the power from where I was and thought it was not real. I concluded in my heart that the man was using (juju) charm, because I was born into this same church and the church had never experienced such.

A woman was lost in prophecy and an elder was interpreting. The man of God said nobody should open their eyes but I opened my eyes. Suddenly, I started feeling strange, and noticed that I couldn't control myself again. I quickly started praying that the Lord should touch the man of God so that he could pray for me.

To my amazement, the man of God said fifteen (15) people that opened their eyes should come out. I ran out immediately and felt relieved. There and then I dedicated my life to Christ and since then my life has not been the same again.

The Lord has blessed me Spiritually and Physically, Glory be to the Lord. I invite you all to give your life to Jesus Christ today, tomorrow maybe too late.
