CONSIDER THIS :(SPIRITUAL FOOD)
14th may 2023

*Jeremiah 4:3 For thus says the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem: “Break up your fallow ground, And do not sow among thorns.*

BREAK UP YOUR FALLOW GROUND

Brethren, you don't need to start breaking until you understand what you are breaking. Jeremiah says your fallow ground. The word fallow ground means a land that could be productive, but for whatever reason has not been broken up, tilled, plowed, and prepared for planting.
You can't plant on an unprepared land. It will be a waste of effort. There is no man God created that doesn't have seed of greatness in him, but some reasons for retrogression is inability to till the land.

It is not always easy to clear or tilled the ground for planting, but it is a must for farmers. In the next verse Jeremiah explained more on how to till the ground
*Jeremiah 4:4 Circumcise yourselves to the Lord, And take away the foreskins of your hearts, You men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem,*
Circumcision is painful but it pays a lot. If you can discipline yourself from certain habit that sabotages your life, you will do well. No man will till your own, you are the person that will cultivate the habit of righteousness and holiness. God cherish pure heart.
*Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.*

The God who will make you great can't be seen without a pure heart. Anyone who planted a seed among thorns won't have full harvest of the grain. Surrender every past experience, every unhealed hurt, unresolved issue, and unmet need over to God. Another ways to break your ground is by giving. Giving is a way of sowing into your future. A farmer knows that he has to plant for harvest. Abraham planted Issac as a seed and had gift of human beings as a reward.
*Hosea 10:12 Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the Lord, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you.*

PRAYER
1. I command every thorns in my life catch fire in Jesus name Amen.

2. Father, help me to surrender every past experience, every unhealed hurt, unresolved issue, and unmet need over to You.

A TRUE WORSHIPER

*But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshipers worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him John 4:23*

Beloved brethren,, Our Father in heaven, since the beginning of time, has been longing and searching for a particular kind of people on earth. Whenever He finds one, His heart is greatly delighted. These people are those who call upon the name of the Lord in sincerity and truth. Jehovah seeks not after worshipers but true worshipers. Yes, there are multitude that are believers and worshipers of God, yet God is not pleased with all. He loves all but relates intimately with those whose hearts are yielded and are true.

If there is a time when believers are to be true in the worship of God, it is now. Unfortunately, it is evident that the body of Christ has so many that worship God just with their mouth but their hearts are far from God.

Identities of a true worshiper include:

1. A yielded heart: Some believers worship with a heart of stone. They are always bent on following their own will and not God's will. Such persons are usually far from God. God desires a heart that says yes to every of His word, no matter the cost. Pray that your heart be broken towards God. Jesus prayed in Matthew 6:10, "Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven". As a believer, you should submit to God in all things.

2. Committed service: Every true worshiper is a committed servant. Those who do not belong to any service arm in the house of God are never true worshipers. Many people mistake attending church services for serving God. It's not true. Serving God takes more than that. It is an active commitment of time, energy,and money to the good of the church. Do so today if you are not committed yet.

PRAYERS:

1. O Lord, give me broken and contrite heart in Jesus name.

*Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men*.

*THE PLACE OF FAVOUR IN SUCCESS*

Brethren, do you see in our text that Jesus increase in favour?. Waoo!, So favour can grow and can also depreciate.
Success in life is a direct function of God’s favour. Outstanding favour attracts outstanding success. Favour is a fundamental requirement in the school of outstanding success. That is why Apostle Paul could boldly declare in *1 Corinthians 15:10: But by the grace of God I am what I am*…. Favour delivers to us those things that by right don’t belong to us but which God bring our way just to prove that we are in favour with Him. For instance, Joseph had favour with his father.

He was the only child Jacob made a coat of many colours for. His father favoured him so much that he became the envy of his brothers. Every outstanding accomplishment in life is traceable to the flow of favour. Our blessings and liftings in life are all functions of God’s favour. Jesus was an outstanding success while on earth here because He enjoyed God’s favour which also brought about men’s favour (Luke 2:40/52).

* *HOW TO GENERATE DIVINE FAVOUR*

1.*Knowledge* : We multiply grace (favour) through knowledge. (2 Peter 1:2). The way of the ignorant is hard (Proverbs 13:15). Knowledge multiplies favour while ignorance equals hardship. There is no mountain anywhere; every man’s ignorance is his mountain.
2.*RIGHTEOUSNESS* : Righteousness causes us to enjoy favour first with God and then with men. The righteous has a heritage of favour with God. *Psalms 5:12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield.*

But, He is angry with the sinner every day. *Psalms 7:11 God is a just judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day*When we give in to sin, we step out of favour with God.

3. *The Anointing of the Holy Spirit:* The anointing of the Holy Spirit carries supernatural favour. Ps 45:7

*PRAYER*
1. I REMOVE IN ME WHATEVER HAS THE CAPABILITY TO ROB ME OF YOUR FAVOUR.

*For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield. – Psalms 5:12*

IMPORTANT OF DIVINE FAVOUR

Brethren, To have Divine favour is to have life.
Divine favour is the birthright of the righteous. If you are a born again child of God, you do not need to beg to be favoured. You are to exist as a mobile favour.
Now, why is it necessary to be a carrier of Divine favour? Divine favour is a necessity because it guarantees Divine preservation.

From our anchor Scripture, we see that favour is like a shield of defence. In Esther 5:2, we see that according to the custom of the Persian Empire, anyone who visited the king without an invitation was to be put to death, but Queen Esther visited the king uninvited and was preserved. This was because she obtained favour in the sight of the king.

So, favour gives a person the mystery of exemption from destruction.
Also, Psalms 30:5 says “For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life:

So, to have Divine favour is to have life. A person who carries Divine favour cannot be a victim of untimely death.
I prophesy to you, by Divine favour, no devil shall cut your life short before your time, in Jesus’ Name.
Remember this: to have Divine favour is to have life

These two assignments are important for the expectant of divine favour.
1. Make demands on Divine favour upon your life.
2. Consciously refuse to walk in the path of unrighteousness.

PRAYER
1. I Command anything that will push me away from divine favour catch fire in Jesus name.
2. O lord cloth me with your righteousness in Jesus name.

OVERCOMING LYING

Hello brethren, do you lie? Did you know that lie is a spirit? I observed that everyone lies or had lied in one way or the other. *Psalms 116:11 I said in my haste, “All men are liars.”*
Some tell lie out of fear, some lie because the spirit of lie has possessed them. Some lie because of quick success syndrome. Shame makes people also to lie. If you can know the consequences of lie you stop it.

Every long term relationship is established in faithfulness. Trust is a bedrock of every good relationships. You build it. You can't leave your house or daughters for a distrusted individual. Daniel was promoted in Babylon because of trust.
*Daniel 6:2 and over these, three governors, of whom Daniel was one, that the satraps might give account to them, so that the king would suffer no loss.*.
Do you see "so that king would suffer no loss"?.

FACTS ABOUT LIE
1. It destroys your relationship.
2. It makes you a child of devil. *John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.*
3. God hates lies and sees it as an abomination.
*Proverbs 6:16-17 These six things the Lord hates, Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:*
*[17] A lying tongue*

Remember that lie is lie whether is
Lies of Denial, Omission, Fabrication, Minimization, and Exaggeration. A lier is not always stable on his words. He changes in speech patterns.
Lie doesn't stand the test of fire. It must always die at last. But truth rules forever. Truth is stronger than lie.
*2 Corinthians 13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.*

PRAYER

CONSIDER THIS: (SPIRITUAL FOOD)

*_Genesis 22:3-4 So Abraham rose early in the morning and saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son; and he split the wood for the burnt offering, and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. Then on the third day Abraham lifted his eyes and saw the place afar off._*

THE JOURNEY OF DESTINY.

Brethren, anything of great significant called for sacrifice. Great sacrifice is the mother of uncommon achievement. Destiny is a journey. No tiredness until you get to your destination. To get to the peak of your destiny you need absolute obedient to the guidance of the holyghost. Listen, there is no short cut to greatness . It all demands huge price. There is always spiritual or physical promotional exam you need to pass.

God at this point called Abraham to sacrifice Isaac as a burnt offering unto him to test his love
& faith for Him. Abraham has heard God said in *Genesis 12:2-3 I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”*

These are promises of God for Abraham, but now is the last test before the crown. How can a man at 100 years old, whose wife womb is dead but by the supernbatural intervention eventually bore a son would've listen to such prophecy?. Even God gave him specific mountain to make the sacrifice. A place that took him 3 day journey. Imagine an old man in a 3 days night & day journey to please the Lord. Notwithstanding, Abraham obeyed the voice of the Lord.
Do you want to please God? so that your posterity will be bless?.

OBEY THESE PRINCIPLES .
1. Don't look at the distance of your mountain if it is where God wants you to worship Him. Follow his voice. His voice is powerful.psam 29

2. Don't reveal all your dealing with God to mediocrities for they may misunderstand you. Abraham selected 2 out of 318 trained servant in his house to go with him. Even his wife was absence. He still dropped the two when they got close to the mountain.

3. Don't sabotage God's plan for your life in the place of your conveniences. Don't give God Ishmael instead of Isaac. Prepare your future today. The womb of tomorrow is now. Follow God's pattern & live by His words.
4. Don't look at what it will cost you to obey God but look at what you will miss in disobedience. May God gives you the grace in Jesus name.

PRAYER
1. O Lord separate from me those who are not going my directions in Jesus name.

CONSIDER THIS: (SPIRITUAL FOOD)

*Matthew 4:1-2 Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry.*

OVERCOMING YOUR WILDERNESS .

Beloved, if Jesus went into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil before his glory came. Be getting ready for yours. It's inevitable general course believers must take in the school of life. Wilderness is not a sweet place. It is a place where people especially friends will abandon you. It's a place of limitations, hunger, lack. It's a place where your friends will become your enemies. Wilderness is a place where you will be tempted by the devil. You may even misunderstand yourself. A place you may asked God many questions like; where are you ? or why do you abandoned me?. Jeremiah 12:1-5, psalm 22:1, Matt 27:46. Read them.

Our messiah, the saviour of the whole world was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted. What was his wilderness encounter?. Hunger. From the above scripture you will find out that He has completed HIS 40 days fasting, but had nothing to eat before satan came to tempt him. Look at the verse again you will see that is past tense " *And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry".* Jesus suffered rejection, hatrated , blackmail & etc during his earthly ministry.

Thank God he was led by the spirit of the Lord. One of the secret of Jesus during his earthly ministry is that, He is always spiritual. *Galatians 5:16 I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.*
Even if you are not spiritual , through fasting and prayers you will be filled. Holy spirit aids you to endure your wilderness school. He releases fruit of patient into your spirit. Exercise patience, everything that has beginning has also ending. Remember devil will tempt you with what you desired most. As Jesus conquered & came out with an awesome glory, you will triumph with greater glory in Jesus name.

PRAYER
1. Speak in tongue for 5min to be fiil with the spirit of the Lord.
2. Father give me wisdom to overcome devil's tricks on my life assignment in Jesus name.
