ECWA English Mushin Jesus Christ is our Role Model, The Gospel is what we preach. On December 4th, 2005, SIM/ECWA was one hundred and twelve years old. However, he did not give up.

The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) was established through the efforts of the Sudan Interior Mission (SIM) which began in 1893. Rowland Bingham, Thomas Kent, and Walter Gowans in their early twenties, left the comfort of their homes, families, and businesses in the Western world, and headed to what was called “the Dark Continent” to preach the Good News. Thomas and Walter died within the first year of their mission. Rowland Bingham was returned home a couple of times because of Malaria fever infection. The earlier fruit of the ministry was when Rev. Titcombe baptized ten men and three women in 1909 at Ogga. From then, SIM churches were established and incorporated as ECWA in 1954, with seven District Church Councils (DCCs). Today, ECWA have over six thousand local congregations, organized into seventy four DCCs, and with about six million members. Many people have benefited directly or indirectly through the ministries of SIM/ECWA.
