Every scripture in the Bible is powerful, but the one that speaks most deeply to me is the Book of Psalms. What makes Psalm special is the honest outpouring of words that come from the places of discomfort, struggle, and deep reflection. The psalmist did not hide his pains or questions. Instead, he brought everything before God through prayer, mercy and music.

Some of these psalms were written by King David, who openly expressed his heart before God. At times he wrote while facing enemies, at times during seasons of fear, and sometimes during moments of joy and victory. Yet in every of his situation, faith remained the foundation of his words.

The Psalms are filled with faith, music, mercy and heartfelt prayers. They remind us that worship is not only for the good and comfortable moments of life. Even in weakness, confusion, or pain, the psalmist still chose to praise God. His songs reflected his life experiences, which is why people still connect with them today.

Gospel Music is a powerful force that creates a channel for us to enter into a spiritual atmosphere, helping us connect with God on a deeper level. Although we may not always see the effects of music in the spiritual realm, but we can certainly feel them.

Gospel music, in particular, has a unique ability to stir our spirits, drawing us closer to God and aiding our spiritual growth.
Tho not all music impacts us spiritually in the same way, and it’s important to discern which songs contribute to our spiritual growth.

While we can't judge every song, we can identify the ones that nourish our souls and build our faith. That’s why curating a playlist of songs that uplift and strengthen our spirits is essential.

Gospel ministers like Sunmisola, Dunsin, and Lawrence Oyor are favorites for many young youths, as their music resonates deeply with the spiritual realm and helps bring listeners into a place of worship and connection with God.

In the days of Abraham, he recognized God as El Shaddai the Almighty God.
He walked by faith and obeyed even when the path was unclear.

Isaac recognized God as the God of his father Abraham He trusted in God's covenant, re-dug the wells, and experienced divine provision (Jehovah Jireh).

Is it Jacob, though he started out with struggle and schemes,
Had a life-changing encounter with God in a dream. He woke up and declared, “Surely the Lord is in this place.” He named it Bethel “House of God.”

Each generation recognized God differently
By revelation, by encounter, by relationship.
