👑 KING OF KINGS, LORD OF LORDS: IS HE TRULY THE KING OF YOUR LIFE? 👑
Family Worship Centre, Ajah, are we truly ready to move from seeking Jesus as a casual helper to submitting to Him as our Sovereign King?
In our ongoing spiritual journey, **“Knowing Jesus for myself,”** we have unpacked His three-fold office. We have seen Him as **The Prophet**—the final, complete revelation of God’s message. We have seen Him as **The Priest**—the perfect mediator who offered His own blood for our redemption. Today, we confront the ultimate office: **JESUS THE KING**.
Many love Jesus as a Helper, Miracle Worker, or Savior. But a king doesn't give advice; he issues commands. When a king reigns, your entire life, assets, decisions, and future come directly under his sovereign authority. The greatest tragedy of modern Christianity across all social classes is wanting salvation without surrender, blessings without bowing, miracles without mastery, and crown benefits without kingdom obedience.
Jesus did not come merely to rescue us from hell; He came to reign over our lives. The Gospel is not a negotiation; it is a divine summons to submit to the King.
# # # 📖 OUR ANCHOR SCRIPTURES
* Isaiah 9:6–7 (NKJV): *“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder... Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end...”
* Matthew 2:1–2 (NKJV): *“...behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem, saying, 'Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.'”
* Revelation 19:11–16 (ERV): *“Then I saw heaven open. There before me was a white horse. The rider... was called Faithful and True... On his robe and on his leg was written this name: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

# # # 💡 WHY HUMANITY DESPERATELY NEEDED A KING
1. To Establish God's Tangible Kingdom: Jesus came to legally defeat sin, destroy darkness, and reconcile humanity so God's perfect will can prevail on earth (Colossians 1:19–20).
2. **Earthly Kings Continually Failed:** From Saul's pride to David's moral fall and Solomon's compromises, human leaders failed (Judges 21:25). We needed a sinless, eternal, divine King.
3. Self-Rule Inherently Descends into Chaos: When there is no righteous king, absolute truth becomes relative ("my truth," "my rules"), morality collapses, and society fragments (Judges 21:25).

* Prophecy Declared It: He was born carrying government on His shoulders (Isaiah 9:6).
* Wise Men Recognized It: He didn't run a campaign or usurp a throne; He was born King (Matthew 2:2).
* Jesus Openly Affirmed It: Under intense interrogation before Pilate, He boldly claimed His crown (John 18:37).
* Heaven Seals It Forever: Earthly leaders have expiration dates, but Christ's throne is eternal (Revelation 19:16).

* Everlasting Dominion: Earthly regimes collapse, but His Kingdom is unshakeable and eternal (Daniel 7:14, John 18:36).
* Flawless Justice: Earthly rulers govern through fear or corruption; Jesus rules in absolute truth, holiness, and mercy (Hebrews 1:8).
* Sacrificial Majesty: Earthly kings send citizens to die for them; King Jesus laid down His life for His people—wearing a crown of thorns before a crown of glory (Mark 10:45, John 15:13).
* Sinless Nature: Earthly leaders carry personal blindspots, but King Jesus is utterly holy and flawless (1 Peter 2:22).
* Heart Transformation: Human laws can only regulate external behavior; King Jesus internally regenerates the human heart (2 Corinthians 5:17).
* Unstoppable Growth: Empires fade into history books, but His Kingdom irrepressibly advances across every generation (Matthew 16:18).

1. Spiritual Domain: Rules the internal throne of the heart before influencing external society.
2. Righteous Nature: Defined entirely by absolute holiness, pristine justice, and true mercy.
3. Servant Leadership: Upside-down hierarchy where greatness is strictly measured by service.
4. Radically Inclusive: Breaks down tribal, racial, and socioeconomic walls for all nations.
5. Ever Advancing: Macroeconomic depressions and hellish opposition cannot stall its expansion.
# # # 🛡️ OUR FAITH RESPONSE: CITIZEN ACTION POINTS
* Radical Submission: Stop treating Christianity like a buffet. Place your career, relationships, sexuality, and ambitions unreservedly under His absolute rule.
* Wholehearted Lifestyle Worship: Worship is prompt obedience. Like the wise men, bow your knee and empty your treasures at His feet (Matthew 2:11).
* Kingdom Stewardship: Actively advance the King's agenda by loving people, discipling others, and building the local church. Manage your time, gifts, and finances as an accountable steward, not an owner.
* Unwavering Trust: When earthly macroeconomic systems shake, currencies fluctuate, and institutions disappoint, remember that King Jesus remains immovable on His throne. Do not let temporary hardship train your heart in unbelief.
* Loyal Citizenship & Proclamation: Reflect His ethical purity through marketplace integrity, pure speech, and professional excellence. Go out as ambassadors and actively introduce others to the King (Matthew 28:19).
* Watchful Expectation: Live every single day with the urgent expectation of His imminent return as Conquering King (Revelation 22:12).
