Glory! Glory!! Glory!!!
It is an awesome week for you all in Jesus name.
I come your way again today with a message I captioned;
DEALING WITH THE SPIRIT OF DEFILEMENT
Defilement is a when something is made unclean.
When we say something is defiled, we are simply saying that such a thing has been made unclean from its previous clean state. This issue should be taken more seriously, because it has eaten up the body of Christ, making most Christians none effective as it regards the race and the mission that was set before us.
What are the things that can defile a man as Christians?
Let’s see mark 7: 13-23.
Christ was explaining to us there how and what kind of things that defiles a man.
We were made there to understand that whatever that is from around man that enters into a man through the mouth cannot defile a man, but such thing that comes out of a man’s heart. Such thing as proceed of the heart. Every action a man takes proceeds from the heart. Hence the heart is a vital tool for human works and deeds.
In verses 21 – 23, of mark 7, for from inside, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts.…
Every evil thought a man conceals in his heart, he does, and that is what defiles a man.
Then, Jesus went on to mention those things that are evil which proceed out of a man’s heart and that defiles a man. These are; adulteries, fornications, murders, and every other evil one can imagine.
Any Christian that still indulge in all these evil acts, is still regarded a baby Christian and is not ready to grow. Consequently, God cannot entrust kingdom treasures in your care because you are still a baby. How do you expect God to entrust responsibilities to babies, it’s not possible, who does that. Even earthly fathers cannot do that to their most beloved babies.
As babies that defecates, and when not watched and washed, returns to the waste and plays with it using the bare hands, this is how a defiled man is seen to be before God.
It’s high time we dealt with this Spirit of defilement that we may grow before God, for in that, God shall call us sons and daughters, rather than children or babies.
A son can be entrusted with great responsibilities and treasures. If that is the case, let us do away with those things which defile us and make us appear before God as little children.
What are the negative effects and implications of defilement?
Genesis 3:1-7
…you shall not eat of it neither shall you touch it, less you die. Verse 3
Verse 7, said …and they knew that they were naked….
When a man is defiled, the following are the implications:
• There shall be spiritual death. As Adam was separated from God’s presence.
• The glory of God shall depart from such a man. The glory of God which was a covering on Adam and Eve left them, as they therefore discovered that they were naked.
• Such a man shall lose his place in the Lord. Adam lost his place in the garden and was sent away from the garden.
• There shall be lost of communion with God, thereby, forcing a closed heaven on such a man.
The negative effects are numerous.
Brethren, in all these, our consolation is that, there are still opportunities for us to make amends that in return we shall be restored to our original son to father relationship that sins/defilement has denied us. Psalms 51:17 provided us the best sacrifice we need to make that will reconnect us to our original relationship with our God. …A broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, God does not despise.
I pray for you this day,
As you make up your mind to do away with these evil acts that defiles a man, God almighty shall return to you and you shall regain your lost glory, and your later days shall be greater than your former days in Jesus name.
And every closed doors as a result of defilement is opened unto you in Jesus name
And everybody say....
Amen.
God bless you all.
SHALOM!!
