It is not “Game Over”

The board game of chess leads to a moment when one player declares, “Checkmate”.
Now, it is “game over”. It means that the most important chess piece—the king—is now cornered. And it’s impossible for you to make another move.

But in the exciting games, where there is a battle of wits, there is an unexpected turn-around!
Perhaps, you make another move, unforeseen by your opponent.
And the outcome changes.

Likewise, there are times in life when there doesn’t appear to be a clear way forward
It seems we are stuck in some area! And the enemy comes into our situations, and whispers, “Checkmate”

And God steps in and He says, “I have another move”, one that no one expected.
And the situation changes.

Because He’s not confined to our “game board”—our earthly boundaries and limitations.
And we can always be confident that our God has moves that we don’t know about.

They Touched Heaven

On the Day of Pentecost, God’s people were waiting in an upper room (Acts 2).
And that place of confinement became a birthplace of outpouring.
This was an event that touched nations and made history!

There was a time when Paul and Silas were imprisoned in a dungeon (Acts 16).
As they began to sing and praise God, Heaven visited that jail. Chains fell off and the doors opened!
They may have been in stocks on the ground, but the sound of their voices touched Heaven.

No ceiling can stand between you and God’s promise for your life.

Today, whatever your own “stuck place”, or waiting place is, hear your Father singing over you.

That place of confinement is going to become the birthplace for the next move of God in your life.

“That pressure will not rob you of your good portion!
It cannot remove that which I have set in motion for you.”

Glory In The Swamp!!!

Have you ever been reflecting on the picture of your life or ministry and it seems as though there is a maze of trials, problems and opportunities to work through?

There are times when we cannot see how God plan fits together.

And sometimes, it even feels as though we are caught in a swamp, and we are not sure how to navigate our way through it!

(Eph 2:10)

The Bible tells us that God designs us for a purpose that He has prepared ahead of time.

You are destined and appointed by God to be a history maker . Living out your life’s purpose is not only about some distant goal or destination, It is about partnering right now with God.

Today, God may be speaking to you about an event or issue that has been in your life, saying “Give that into My hands, put your trust in Me and I will redeem it. Know that I am faithful.”

The story of Joseph stands as an encouragement to us. (Genesis 30-50) None of the trials Joseph went through were wasted. God used everything to prepare and equip him for what was ahead in the call of God on his life.

Today, take a fresh look at God your Redeemer. Put the pieces of that puzzle in His hands and allow Him to do His work of grace. Ultimately, you will see that things fit together in some way, unforeseen by you but ordained ahead of time by God. Hallelujah!!!

Ephesians 1:7 (KJV) In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

One of the blessing recorded in Ephesians is the purchase of our freedom—redemption. The word redemption means “to buy back with a ransom.” The slave market is in Paul’s mind as he tries to find images to convey the state of our spirits as slaves to sin, and the love of our Redeemer paying with His own precious blood the ultimate price for our freedom. Some think that because Christ died, all receive forgiveness and are redeemed automatically. Not so! We have to say thank you and take advantage of that freedom by walking away from our old master and serving the One who has bought us with such a price—whose service is perfect freedom!
