AD2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣6️⃣ IS OUR YEAR OF DIVINE HONOUR AND DIGNITY (Esther 8:15-16, Esther 10:3, John 12:26) Jesus Christ’s command is to preach the gospel and make disciples of all nations (Mark 16:15; Matthew 28:19). Therefore, we are “Dedicated unto the cause of Inter-denominational and Worldwide Evangelism.”* These words express

our spirit and our focus. Our call is to preach Jesus Christ, God’s Son, as The Savior, The Baptizer, The Healer and The Coming King. Our assignment is to develop healthy, growing churches. Our commitment is to plant national churches around the world led by loving servants of Jesus Christ. Churches developed in this manner will reproduce again and again. This makes possible the spread of the gospel to those who have not heard or accepted the message of God’s Son. Our Name – The Foursquare Gospel Church: “Foursquare” is a Biblical term used of the tabernacle in the Book of Exodus, of the Temple of the Lord in Ezekiel 40:47, and of Heaven, as described in the book of the Revelation. The term “Foursquare Gospel” was given in the inspiration of revival to the denomination’s founder, Aimee Semple McPherson, during an evangelistic campaign in Oakland, Calif., in 1922. It represents that which is equally balanced on all sides, established and enduring. Such confidence in the power of the Gospel is also expressed by the verse, Hebrews 13:8, displayed in Foursquare churches proclaiming, “Jesus Christ the Same, Yesterday and Today and Forever.”

The name represents the four-fold ministries of Jesus as:

🎯TOPIC:
THE PEACE GOD GIVES

📖BIBLE READING:
Philippians 4:4-7

4. Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

5. Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

🗝️KEY VERSE:
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”Philippians 4:7

✝️MEDITATION:
I lost my best friend in 2018. During this season of personal loss, I was consumed by grief and confusion. I couldn’t see a way forward. Then I remembered today’s key verse, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” With these words, and the help of the Holy Spirit, my heart was strengthened. In prayer, I poured out my pain to God, surrendering what I couldn’t control. Gradually, a profound peace settled over me—one I couldn’t explain but deeply felt. Circumstances hadn’t changed, but my heart was calm. That peace carried me through the storm, teaching me that God’s presence is the ultimate comfort, surpassing any human comprehension.

Today’s bible text as a whole highlights a divine peace that transcends human understanding, offering tranquility beyond our circumstances.
This peace is not merely the absence of conflict but a profound sense of calm that prevails even amid turmoil. It acts as a guard over our emotions and thoughts, protecting us from anxiety and fear. Importantly, this safeguarding is found "in Christ Jesus," indicating that a relationship with Him is essential to experiencing this peace. By entrusting our concerns to God through prayer and thanksgiving, as advised in the preceding verse (vs. 6), we open our hearts to this transcendent peace, allowing it to guard and guide us through life's challenges.

Why is it always wise and comforting to trust in the peace Jesus gives?

🙏PRAYER:
Prince of peace, grant me the peace of heart that transcends all human understanding.

🎯TOPIC:
GOD'S GRACE DEFINES OUR GIFTS

📖BIBLE READING:
Romans 12:4-8

4. For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5. So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7. Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8. Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.

🗝️KEY VERSE:
“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith.”Romans 12:6

✝️MEDITATION:
As a child, my daughter Ella loved explaining things to her friends—be it solving mathematics problems or telling stories. She had a unique way of making things clear and exciting. As she grew older, she discovered her passion for teaching. Still, she often compared herself to more eloquent or charismatic individuals, doubting her own gift.

One Sunday, her mentor taught her about the diversity of gifts—talents, skills, or gifts of the Holy Spirit. That conversation stayed with her. Ella realized that God had uniquely equipped her to teach, just as He gives others different gifts. She didn’t need to be the best speaker—only faithful in using her gift.

Romans 12:6 reminds us that each person receives gifts according to God’s grace—not by merit, but by His purpose. Prophesying is mentioned, urging those with the gift to use it in line with their faith. This applies to all gifts—whether teaching, serving, encouraging, or leading.Rather than compare ourselves to others, we should embrace and develop the gifts entrusted to us. Just as a body functions through its various parts, the Church thrives better when believers use their gifts in unity and faith. In doing so, we glorify God and serve others meaningfully.

Why do people covet certain gifts in the church—those that seem to spotlight them or elevate their status?

🙏PRAYER:
Giver of all gifts, help me identify my gifts early in life and use them for Your glory.

REVERENCE AND AWE IN WORSHIP

📖BIBLE READING:
Hebrews 12:25-29

25. See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

26. Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

27. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

28. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

29. For our God is a consuming fire.

🗝️KEY VERSE:
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear.Hebrews 12:28

✝️MEDITATION:
As a young believer, I approached worship casually, often distracted and unaware of its significance. But as I journeyed in the Christian race, it struck me that worship isn’t just singing; it’s honoring God’s holiness. During any Christian worship, I intentionally focus on God’s greatness, surrendering my heart fully. In such moments, I always feel overwhelmed by His presence and majesty. The fear of God deepened my worship, not out of dread but profound reverence, reminding me of His glory and awesomeness.

The Bible text of today calls us to worship God “acceptably with reverence and awe.” Worship is not just about songs or music but about a heart posture of deep respect, humility, and submission to God’s holiness. The phrase “our God is a consuming fire” highlights His purity, justice, and power.
It serves as a reminder that God is both loving and righteous, and He desires sincere devotion. It also reminds us of the unshakable nature of God’s kingdom and the proper response to His greatness. Unlike earthly kingdoms, which rise and fall, God’s kingdom is eternal and immovable. This assurance should fill you as a believer with gratitude, knowing that our faith and hope are anchored in something everlasting. As believers, we should approach God with thankful hearts, honouring Him not just with words but with lives that reflect His glory. True worship is living in obedience, surrender, and deep reverence for who He is.

How do you understand worshiping God in reverential fear and holiness?

🙏PRAYER:
Almighty God, help me to daily bow in awe of you!
