KEEP MOVING. II
1 Samuel 30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
When your team suddenly backs out from you and turns their back on you for any reason, is the greatest handicap or setback a man can face.
These men were made by David; they had nothing when they came to him in l Samuel 22vs2, now they lost what they have acquired when they came to David, David himself lost two wives and yet, they were blaming David for the failed venture, that they wanted to stone him.
They were on a venture which had gone from bad to worse, they were not consoling the leader but they were blaming him to his face and are ready to kill him.
Most leaders will be discouraged and full of bitterness against the people; knowing his contributions to their lives and their response to the temporary setback.
But David encouraged himself in the Lord, he didn't allow their deeds to get to him, and he refused to allow their action to stop him. Until you encourage yourself, you may not find a solution, until you decide not to allow their deeds to get to you, you may not be able to move again.
The people who are supposed to encourage you may be the people discouraging you; encourage yourself, don't drop your head, don't give in to discouragement, keep moving.
I see God fulfilling his words in your life in the name of Jesus, no devil will be able to stop you in the name of Jesus.
