BE ENCOURAGED
Luke 5:4-6
[4]When He had stopped speaking, He said to Simon, “Launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
[5]But Simon answered and said to Him, “Master, we have toiled all night and caught nothing; nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net.”
[6]And when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish, and their net was breaking.
That it did not work this time does not mean it will never work.
'And saw two boats standing by the lake; but the fishermen had gone from them and were washing their nets'. (vs 2)
The fishermen had already accepted that it just wasn't their day, so they were washing their nets to close for the day. To them, it was over for that business day. Not a good business day after all!
In the economy of God, He wastes nothing. Our seemingly unfruitful efforts, endeavours or moves today are all seeds for bountiful harvests in the near future.
You are not a failure. That project has not failed. That effort is not a waste. The last has not been heard about that issue.
Job 23:8-10
[8]“Look, I go forward, but He is not there, And backward, but I cannot perceive Him;
[9]When He works on the left hand, I cannot behold Him; When He turns to the right hand, I cannot see Him.
[10]But He knows the way that I take; When He has tested me, I shall come forth as gold".
Quite many times, we don't seem to see or understand what is happening in our lives. We can't sense or perceive God doing anything about those notty but urgent issues in and around our lives.
We may not be able to 'see' Him, nevertheless, He is always there, making all things work together for our good.
Romans 8:28
NIV: And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
NLT: And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
Therefore, arise and be encouraged. Receive both the former and the latter rain in the same month for accelerated resounding victory, fruitfulness and harvests, in Jesus' name.
2 Chronicles 15:7
"But you, be strong and do not let your hands be weak, for your work shall be rewarded!”
You are blessed and highly favoured.
