*SUNDAY, 24TH MAY, 2026*

*TOPIC: COMFORT FOR GOD'S PEOPLE.*

*TEXT: LUKE 7:11-16*

*MEMORY VERSE:*
_Psalms 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit._

One of the ways the Holy spirit comforts us is through the word of God.
The psalmist testifies that, “He sent His word and healed them” (Ps. 107:20).

The Holy Spirit is a member of the Trinity who breathes out the thoughts of God to men, who recorded His thoughts in the scripture (2 Tim. 3:16; 2 Pet. 1:21; 1 Cor. 2:11-13), and He employs the word to apply the healing truth to the broken hearted. The Spirit illuminates our minds and shines light on the promises of God, as well as its application to our various trials.

Jesus assures us of the Comforter. Shortly after He informed the disciples that He would leave them, they expressed much grief. In response, Jesus promised to send an helper, the Spirit of truth, who will remind them of what He taught, and bring peace to their hearts (John 16:12-14).

As a follower of Christ, the presence of the Holy spirit strengthens you and delivers the comfort of God’s healing words to you. The scripture is a medicinal balm to every pain, and it strengthens your trust in God.

Regardless of the various depths of pain that anyone may be experiencing, through the scripture and your faith in God, He will comfort you and nurture your faith in Jesus name.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Comforter, please visit and comfort the broken hearted in Jesus name.

2. Father, let your word come alive to heal and mend every broken heart in Jesus name.

*DECLARATION*
I decree and declare that the word of God will heal and mend my heart in Jesus name.

*TOPIC : OLD THINGS ARE PASSED AWAY.*

*TEXT : ISAIAH 43:1-19*

*MEMORY VERSE*
_Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful._

It is important to note that every new thing bought or gotten could be a replacement for an old one. To move from bachelorhood to marriage requires a change of state. Also, to move from an old house to a new one requires some change of status. The Lord is set to do a new thing in your life this time again in Jesus name.

The scripture recorded in Genesis 32 :24 -28 that The Lord changed Jacob's old name to a new one. When God is set to do a new thing, it may sometimes come with a change of name. For example, when a waiting mother finally gives birth, her name changes to "mama so and so" . When God was set to enlarge Abram and Sarai, their names changed to accommodate the capacity God was taking them to. I pray that God will take away every old unpleasant situation in your life, and give you a new beginning in Jesus name.

However, for you to experience the power in this newness, some old things must leave your life for the new ones to come. Your old way of life or old ways of doing things must change for good. There are some behaviours that must go, for the new ones to come.

_2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new._

The bible says all things become new when God sets in. The power to live in newness has been released to you. This season, may you receive newness of life in Jesus name.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. FATHER, PLEASE LET EVERYTHING BECOME NEW IN MY LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

2. FATHER, REMOVE EVERY OLD THING THAT NEEDS TO GO AWAY FROM MY LIFE, FOR ME TO EXPERIENCE ABUNDANT NEWNESS IN JESUS NAME.

*DECLARATION*
I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT GOD HAS GIVEN ME A NEW BEGINING IN JESUS NAME.

TOPIC : EVERYTHING IS WORKING FOR MY GOOD.

TEXT : ROMANS 8:16-19

MEMORY VERSE
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". Romans 8:28

Today's memory verse clearly indicates that two things qualify us for God to work all things together for our good.

Firstly, He works for “the good of those who love Him.” If you love God, you can trust that He is working for your good and that He loves you in return.

Secondly, He works for “those who are called according to His purpose.” Invariably, following and loving God entails submitting to His purpose for you.

The good news is that everyone of us have been called by God for a purpose. In fact, it is accurate to say that loving God and experiencing His call are actually one. Those who love God are called according to His purpose and vice versa.

It takes a man or woman in faith to know that of a truth, God is aware of everything and every situation or path before us. He sees it all even before they begin to manifest right before our very eyes.

For some, with just a little hitch, they give up, loose hope and faith. Some even confess with their mouths that God has forsaken them, contrary to His words where He said that He won't leave nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8). While others, if permitted will testify of how everything worked together for their good despite the challenges they faced.

I encourage you to remain in faith, because even while going through dark times, you are not in it alone, you can't and wouldn't survive it if not for God going through it with you.

Today, take a moment to thank God that He is working all things together for your good, even in the circumstances where you can’t yet see the result. Be rest assured that you will not loose, your fasting and prayers will not be in vain. Everything will eventually work together for your good in Jesus mighty name.

PRAYER POINTS

1. FATHER, I PRAY FOR THE UNWAVERING GRACE TO TRUST YOU ABSOLUTELY ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

2. FATHER, BY YOUR MERCY, LET EVERYTHING WORK OUT FOR MY GOOD IN JESUS NAME.

DECLARATION
I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT I WILL ENJOY THE FAVOUR AND GOODNESS OF GOD NOW AND ALWAYS IN JESUS NAME.

GOOD MORNING JESUS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE : THURSDAY 21ST MAY, 2026.

TOPIC : DIVINE INTERVENTION.

TEXT : EXODUS 6:5-7.

MEMORY VERSE
"He delivereth and rescueth, and he worketh signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who hath delivered Daniel from the power of the lions" (Daniel 6 : 27).

It has become almost a daily occurrence for people to face difficulties which can relate to health, family, finance, work, life etc. At this point in time, many easily become weak, negative minded, and some even loose faith in God.

As humans, we need divine intervention. Calling upon God for help, rescue, deliverance, safety, healing, provision, victory etc is a cry for His intervention, because God alone can help us. Psalm 46:1-3.

Divine intervention is when the sovereign God steps into the affairs of a person to take over his/her situation. It can be either to improve a situation or to prevent it from getting worse.

When God shows up to intervene in your affairs, be rest assured that the outcome is in your favour. Often times, His mighty hands show up when we are faced with impossible situations, depressing difficulties, where we are limited as humans, when we can't help ourselves in moments of crisis.

Receiving supernatural peace, clarity or direction to navigate period of intense grief, hardship, or adversity is a result of divine intervention.

The times you experience a perfectly timed help or a sudden shift that protects you from harm or leads you to an unexpected opportunity is a result of divine intervention.

The turning around of the captivity of zion, victory Jehoshaphat and Judah had when the three nations rose up against them, fruitfulness of Hannah and the household of Abraham, were all results of divine intervention. Brethren be rest assured that God is interested and actively involved in that situation. I pray that you will experience divine intervention today in Jesus name.

PRAYER POINTS

1• Father, arise to intervene in the affairs of my life in Jesus name.

2. Father, through your intervention, bring the battles of my life to an end in Jesus name.

DECLARATION
I decree and declare that the Lord who rules over the affairs of man will intervene in my life. He will make everything perfect in Jesus name.

*TOPIC: THE DAYSPRING FROM ON HIGH.*

*TEXT: LUKE 1:72-78*

*MEMORY VERSE:*
_Luke 1:78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,_

Dayspring means sunlight , dawn or the breaking forth of light. Before sunrise, there is darkness, fear, uncertainty and limitation, but when the dayspring appears, darkness disappears.

Jesus is called the "Dayspring from on high" because He came to bring light to the world, light that prevails over darkness, hope instead of despair, direction instead of of confusion and life instead of death.

Many people are living in emotional , spiritual, financial and moral darkness, but at the appearance of Jesus, a new day begins(Isaiah 9:2) . Blind Bartimaeus sat in darkness, but one encounter with Jesus changed his story.

In darkness, the world loses its color, its shape and its distinction. Also, in darkness, our fears multiply and our sorrows weigh heaviest. Those who walk in darkness cannot see the paths before them, Jesus brings divine direction ( luke 1:79 ).

What does the dayspring do?

1. It chases away darkness, our fears and lonely sorrow. It brings back the color and shape of the world.

2. Dayspring comes to all people everywhere. The sun does not discriminate, it rises over everyone; the rich and the poor because of His mercy. Luke 1:78

3. Dayspring grows ever brighter. An individual's relationship with Christ is like the first gleam of dawn, growing ever brighter till the full light of day. The deeper our relationship with God is, the brighter we are with Him.

4. The dayspring is the only source of true light. A candle, flashligh or campfire, all have their benefits, the world is full of derivative lights, but they are not the Dayspring.
No night is too dark, and no sorrow is too heavy for the dayspring on high to shine through.

Brethren, is your heart open to the light of Christ today? Is there any room left darkened by the curtains of sin, fear or sorrow.? Open up to the Holy Spirit and allow Him flood your mind with the light of His glorious presence. No night lasts forever and darkness has an expiry date. The Dayspring from on high still visit people today no matter the situation in Jesus name.

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Father, let your light continually shine in me in Jesus name.

2. Father let your light pe*****te every facet of our world to bring peace and lasting joy in Jesus name.

*DECLARATION*
I decree and declare that the dayspring from on high has visited me. I walk in light, direction , peace and victory in Jesus name.

*MONDAY, 18TH MAY, 2026* .

*TOPIC: DWELLING IN GOD'S PRESENCE (Pt 1).*

*TEXT: PSALM 91:1; 33:14.*

*MEMORY VERSE*
_Psalms 16:11b - In thy presence is fulness of joy_

To dwell in God's presence means remaining, abiding and staying connected with Him. When we spend time in God's presence, we tend to know Him deeper, we hear His voice clearly, and our love for Him grows stronger.
" _Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you...James 4:8, KJV)_ "

Dwelling in God’s presence is not a one-time experience, but a daily lifestyle of prayer, worship, obedience, and fellowship with Him.

The more time spent with God, the stronger, wiser, and more spiritually sensitive a believer becomes. Dwelling in God's presence entails living in constant fellowship, communion and intimacy with Him. God never intended His children to come to His presence occasionally, He desires that we dwell there continually.

Many people go to God only when they are in need or in trouble, but those who know Him makes His presence their daily habitation. When a believer dwells in God's presence, transformation takes place and victory becomes evident.

WHAT DO YOU STAND TO GAIN BY DWELLING IN GOD'S PRESENCE?

1.JOY : His presence produces joy. True joy is not dependent on circumstances, it flows from God's presence. A believer who dwells with God carries joy even during difficult seasons. ( Psalm 16:11 ).

2. DIRECTION : His presence brings direction. God guides those who remain close to Him. Many people make wrong decisions because they move ahead without seeking God's direction. In God's presence, and as we lean on Him, wisdom increases and discernment becomes sharper. We will not be taken unaware by the enemy because God will reveal to us what steps to take and the paths to avoid. (Psalms 32:8).

*PRAYER POINTS*
1. Father, help me to dwell in your presence continually in Jesus name.

2. Father, let my hunger for you increase daily and fill my life with your peace, strength, wisdom, and joy in Jesus name.

*DECLARATION*
I decree and declare that I and my household will dwell in the presence of God all the days of our lives in Jesus name.

GOOD MORNING JESUS DAILY DEVOTIONAL.

BY PASTOR (MRS.) ELIZABETH OMOIKE.

TOPIC: CONSISTENCY IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER (Part 2)

TEXT: Romans 12:12

MEMORY VERSE:
_Ephesians 6:18. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints._

Consistency in prayer is one of the greatest keys to spiritual growth and victory. Many believers desire spiritual maturity, power, and answered prayers, yet they struggle with maintaining a stable prayer life. Prayer must go beyond emotions and become a spiritual discipline rooted in commitment.

Jesus taught in Luke 18:1 that men ought always to pray and not to faint. This means prayer requires persistence. Some prayers receive instant answers, while others demand patience, perseverance, and unwavering faith. A believer who remains steadfast in prayer will surely see the hand of God move in due season.

MORE BENEFITS OF CONSISTENT PRAYER
4. CONSISTENCY PRODUCES ANSWERS
Persistent prayer opens doors and brings divine intervention. God responds to hearts that continually seek Him in faith and dependence.
Luke 18:1-8; Matthew 7:7-8; Jeremiah 33:3.

5. CONSISTENCY HELPS US OVERCOME TEMPTATION
A prayerless or seasonal praying believer is spiritually vulnerable. Consistent prayer guards the heart, strengthens discipline, sharpens discernment, and helps believers resist sin.
“Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation…" Matthew 26:41.

PRACTICAL WAYS TO REMAIN CONSISTENT IN PRAYER
A. Set a regular prayer time.

B. Create a quiet place for prayer.

C. Study the Word as you pray.

D. Avoid distractions.

E. Join others to pray when prayer is called for.

F. Pray even when you do not feel emotional.

Consistency is built through commitment, not feelings. As you remain steadfast in prayer, God will develop patience, humility, wisdom, faith, and spiritual maturity in you.

I see God turning every difficult situation around in your favour as you consistently present yourself before Him in prayer throughout these next three months of vigils in Jesus powerful name.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, grant me the grace to remain persistent and unwavering in my prayer life in Jesus mighty name.

2. O Lord, let every weakness and spiritual weariness disappear from my life and fill me afresh with the spirit of prayer in Jesus awesome name.

DECLARATION
I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT MY PRAYER ALTAR SHALL REMAIN ACTIVE AND EFFECTIVE. I RECEIVE GRACE TO PRAY WITHOUT CEASING. I SHALL NOT FAINT, GIVE UP, OR GROW COLD SPIRITUALLY IN JESUS GREAT NAME. AMEN.

GOOD MORNING JESUS DAILY DEVOTIONAL

TOPIC: CONSISTENCY IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER (Part 1)

TEXT: Romans 12:12

MEMORY VERSE:
_Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.”_

As believers, it is expected of us to make prayer a lifestyle and not a one-time event. This means we must remain consistent in the place of prayer. Consistent prayer builds spiritual strength, deepens fellowship with God, sharpens discernment, and keeps believers spiritually alive. Great men and women in the Bible were not powerful because they prayed occasionally, but because they prayed consistently.

Prayer is not meant to be practiced only in times of trouble or emergencies. It is a daily communion with God that sustains spiritual growth and victory. A believer who is consistent in prayer cannot remain spiritually weak because every moment spent with God strengthens the inner man and keeps the fire of revival burning.

BENEFITS OF PRAYING CONSISTENTLY
1. CONSISTENCY BUILDS INTIMACY WITH GOD
A believer who prays consistently develops intimacy with God. Fellowship with God becomes deeper and more personal through regular communication with Him.
“And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”
— Jeremiah 29:13.

2. CONSISTENCY STRENGTHENS SPIRITUAL POWER
Spiritual strength does not come suddenly; it develops through continual prayer. Jesus Himself often withdrew to pray even though He was the Son of God. If Jesus needed to pray consistently, how much more do we?
Luke 5:16; Isaiah 40:31; Jude 1:20.

3. CONSISTENT PRAYER KEEPS THE FIRE BURNING
A fire that is ignored will eventually go out. The same thing happens spiritually when prayer becomes irregular.
“And the fire upon the altar shall be burning in it; it shall not be put out…”
— Leviticus 6:12

In the place of prayer, spiritual passion comes alive. Hunger for God increases, love for holiness grows, and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit becomes stronger. But without consistent prayer, spiritual coldness gradually sets in.

Beloved, in this season of prayer, do not allow discouragement, busy schedules, or distractions to keep you away from the altar of prayer. God honors consistency, and every sincere moment spent in His presence will never be wasted.

PRAYER POINTS
1. Father, help me to remain faithful and consistent in the place of prayer in Jesus awesome name.

2. O Lord, strengthen my spirit, remove distractions, and create in me a deeper hunger for fellowship with You in Jesus mighty name.

DECLARATION
I DECREE AND DECLARE THAT I SHALL NOT BE WEARY IN THE PLACE OF PRAYER. MY SPIRIT MAN RECEIVES STRENGTH DAILY. THE FIRE ON MY ALTAR SHALL NEVER GO OUT IN PRAYER IN JESUS POWERFUL NAME. AMEN.

*TOPIC: WHEN PRAYER BECOMES A NECESSITY* .

*TEXT: LUKE 18:1-8; 1 THESSALONIANS 5:17*

*MEMORY VERSE:*
_Luke 18:1 And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint._

Prayer is one of the greatest spiritual lifelines given to believers. It is through prayer that we communicate with God, receive strength, direction, and victory over the battles of life. Prayer should never be treated as a casual activity, because there are situations in life where prayer becomes an absolute necessity.
When challenges increase and human help fails, prayer becomes necessary. When the heart is troubled and answer seems far away, prayer becomes necessary.

Many believers wait until things go wrong before seeking God, but God desires that we maintain a consistent prayer life at all times. Jesus taught His disciples to pray always and not to faint because prayer keeps a believer spiritually alert and connected to divine help.

The Bible is filled with examples of men and women who prevailed through prayer. Hannah prayed until her shame was turned into joy. Daniel prayed despite oppositions, and God preserved him. The early church prayed earnestly and Peter was supernaturally delivered from prison.

Prayer changes situations, breaks limitations, and opens doors that no man can shut. A prayerless believer becomes spiritually weak, but a praying believer walks in strength and victory.

Beloved, let prayer become your first response and not your last option. Build a strong altar of prayer and fellowship with God daily. As you remain steadfast in prayer, the Lord will strengthen you, guide your steps, and grant you victory over every challenge of life.

*PRAYER POINTS:*
1. Father, revive my prayer life and give me the grace to pray without ceasing in Jesus great name.

2. Lord, let every challenge confronting my life bow to the power of prayer in the mighty name of Jesus.

*DECLARATION:*
I decree and declare that my prayer altar shall not go cold. I receive fresh strength and grace to prevail over every battle around my life in Jesus powerful name. Amen.
