I BELIEVE IN THE RAPTURE OF THE CHURCH....
I believe because it was foreshadowed so many times in the Scripture. And based on the inerrancy, and the infallibility of the word of God, whatever is foreshadowed in the scripture is because it's in line with the divine revelation/agenda and it's sure to happen in real time.
The first foreshadowing of RAPTURE in the Bible is in Genesis chapter 5:
Genesis 5:23 And all the days of Enoch were THREE hundred SIXty and FIVE years: 24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for GOD TOOK HIM.
That God "took him" as above is symbolic of RAPTURE.
His age (365) also is symbolic to give a clue to who would be raptured!
It is not about the numbers of days in a year but, Three speaks of RESURRECTION; Six is the number of MAN and Five is GRACE. That's Bible numerology!
That means, any MAN (male or female) who is a partaker of the GRACE that brings salvation through the RESURRECTION of Christ is a candidate for RAPTURE. In other words, acceptance of the free gift of salvation through faith in Christ Jesus is man's signature on his candidature for rapture.
The second foreshadowing of RAPTURE was the ark of Noah. While the ark itself symbolised Christ_ a place of safety and succour for God's people, there must be a LIFTING UP (rapture) of the ark with those in it before the rain of judgment (tribulation) comes upon the unbelieving inhabitants of the earth. That is to say, Christ will come to LIFT us up off this terra firma before the tribulation period. Hence, God instructed Noah to enter the ark seven days before the rain starts with his family. The more water covers the earth, the more the ark is LIFTED and those who gave entered into the ark were untouched by the rain of judgment. We know there'll be seven years of tribulations. Before it starts or just as it's (about) starting, there would be a LIFTING UP, a CATCHING UP of God's inheritance on earth!
The resting of the ark on Mount Ararat after the flood symbolised our return with Jesus, after the tribulation, kickstarting the millenia reign of Christ.
Another event that foreshadowed RAPTURE is the case of Lot in S***m. The rain of fire upon S***m and Gomorrah wouldn't start to fall until Lot (the only righteous soul) ESCAPES!
The catching up of Elijah is another one. Moses "died" but his body was not physically found!
I can go on and on but I don't mean to write anything lengthy.
One more thing I'd like to mention is that, based on Bible chronology, it is certain that the time for the RAPTURE of the church is not near, rather, it is here!
Let the world be assured that what is said about rapture is true and will happen. Let the saints of God in Christ Jesus rejoice in anticipation!
The door is open; the ark isn't yet full, the saving arms of Jesus are still widespread for anyone who will come to Jesus and be saved. Just call on Him to save you and He will answer. Calling on Him after that the deed is done won't work. Do it now!
As it was in the days of Noah...!
