Topic: *LOVE HAS GREAT POWER*

*FOCAL SCRIPTURE*: PROV. 15:16-17

*WISDOM CAPSULE:* Better is a dry morsel with quietness, than a house full of feasting with strife. Prov. 17:1

The true binding force in the institution of marriage is the true love of the Lord that exists between the husband and the wife.

This is why it is imperative that both the husband and the wife ensure that they are not deceiving themselves in terms of the love they claim to have for one another because marriage has a way of exposing their deceptions.

There are lots of challenges that come with the marital journey.

It is true that no marriage is made from heaven rather it behooves the man and the woman in it to consciously work it out but it will become a great task if they do not truly love each other this is the reason some marriages collapse after a while.

Where genuine love exists both the husband and the wife will be able to pull through any kind of issues they face at any time.

There will be strong tie between them as they both face it and eventually come out as champions.

This is why the scripture today made us to know that where there is a “dinner of herbs” meaning where things seem difficult to the extent of finding it hard to have good food on the table to eat; but love is available, there will be no issue as it ought to be, but where love is absent, no matter how much they have at home there will still be enough issues to contend with.

The general advice for all especially those in the marital journey is to allow for the dominance of the true love of God that will always enable them to love each other as it ought to be.

And where this kind of love exist, there will be peace, harmony, unity and the family will become a blissful place to be even for the children and others.

The power of love will cushion the effect of whatever negative circumstance that both the husband and wife might be going through in marriage.

We should allow the agape love of God to rule our hearts always; this is when we can truly love our spouses as it ought to be.

Choose the love of God today and always.

*Declare These*
1
Let the love of God be imbedded in my heart always
2
I will love my spouse more than ever before
3
My marriage will not scatter but prosper

*WISDOM CAPSULE:* WHERE LOVE RULES, PEACE AND HARMONY REIGNS

*Topic: LOOKING UNTO JESUS*

*Focal Scripture:* Col. 3:1-3

*Wisdom Deposit*: And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live. Numbers 21:8

As Children of the
Most, we must know well that our lives must be guided and guarded by the Word of our God.

It's His chart for our daily living and victory in life. There is what To do and how to do it for every situation in God's word.

It's our manual for living and we cannot successful live life thoroughly outside the pages of His word.

What God says about us in His Word is greater than what we see around ourselves.

In our wisdom Deposit,
the Bible makes it clear that God sent fiery serpents to bite the children of Israel because they murmured against Him.

As a remedy to the problem, when they cried unto God, God told Moses to lift up a brazen serpent so that anyone who looked at it would be healed of the serpent’s bite.

Therefore, the people had the choice to either look at the serpent biting them on the ground or the one lifted up on the pole.

Beloved, we have the right to choose where we place our attention per time, and per seasons of life but we do not have any right over the outcome of that choice.

Our outcome in life is determined by where we are looking at and what we are looking at per time.

For everything that is happening around us, there is a written word about it in the Bible. And we have the choice to either look at what is happening or at what is written.

Remember, what God says about us in His Word is greater than what we see around us.

Therefore, ignore the challenges and look at the revelation in God’s Word.

As we journey through life with it's ups and down, we must Never meditate on any circumstance that is contrary to God’s revealed Will for our lives.

We must endeavor to Locate at least 2 to 5 Scriptures related to any challenge(s) in our lives, meditate on them and make positive declarations based on them.

As we do, we get renewed, refreshed and refired to scale through these challenges and as he promised, we will be more than conquerors through him that loved us.

There is a written word for any and every challenge, let's go for it and set our affections on the Word dictate

May these Words make us today and beyond in Jesus' name. Amen.

*Declare these*
1-
O LORD, I choose to believe Your Word above every circumstance.
2--
Help me LORD, to believe Your Word above the circumstances of life, LORD, in Jesus’ Name.
3-- I draw strength from the power of your Word oh Lord.

*Wisdom Capsule for today* There is nothing more calculated to strengthen our lives like diligent study of the Word of God.
