We thank the Lord for bringing us into another day of this great International Youth Programme, THE YOUTH THAT KNOWS THE LORD.

Yesterday was just the beginning. There is still so much more the Lord wants to do in our lives.

So don't just be present today. Listen to the Word. Pay attention. Take every instruction seriously and open your heart to receive from the Lord.

Leave every distraction behind and make sure you don't miss what God has brought you here to receive.

Text: Daniel 11:32, 2 Chronicles 26:1–8, Daniel 1:3–20

​In this great program, every youth must be determined to know the Lord in spirit and in truth. We must know the Lord to the point that whoever comes in contact with us must be provoked to know the Lord.

​Point 1: The Fact That Joseph and Moses Knew the Lord and Their Exploits

Every youth here must have heard of Joseph's exploits. Joseph was a great youtn that knew the Lord.

Joseph was a youth who always had dreams and shared them with his brethren and parents, unknown to him that his brethren were not happy with his dreams. They felt intimidated and threatened, so they conspired to kill him. (Genesis 37:1–30, 36; 39:1-5, 11-23).

​When the time came for Joseph to commit sin, he proved that he knew the Lord by resisting it and standing his ground. (Genesis 39:5; 40:1; Genesis 43:11)

Moses grew in the wisdom of the Egyptians but yet he recognised his own people and he knew he was a Hebrew (Exodus 2:11-15).

​Point 2: Our Expected Response and Benefits:

We have seen the youths of those days who knew the Lord to the point of doing great exploits. Joseph was the second in command in Egypt and by his word, the whole Egypt was ruled. (Genesis 41:38-44, Genesis 50:14–18, Exodus 3:6-10, Daniel 11:32, 1 Corinthians 11:1, John 1:12, 2Corinthians 5:17)

Topic: Life in camp - Obedience and The Fear of God
Text: Matthew 17:1-7, Joshua 1:7

We should obey every instruction passed to us. We should not act like King Saul, who partially obeyed the instruction that God gave Samuel to give him. He did not do exactly what God commanded him to do, and he was greatly punished for his action.

When the disciples came to the mountain top, they saw the glory of God and wanted to reside there.

When you are here, we should understand that there are rules to abide by.

God is particular about obedience. 1 Samuel 15:13.

The mistakes that we make till today are that we should always bear in mind that incomplete obedience is disobedience.

We should understand that in our own age as youths, it is rampant to walk in our own ways, but the Bible says, be not wise in your own eyes.

If you want your favour to mature, you must obey the minister, workers, ushers, and leaders.

If you are staying in this camp. Obedience first, you must understand, my brothers and sisters. God hates disobedience. Therefore, as believers and youths who know the Lord, we ought to detest and flee from it.

My beloved brothers and sisters, we are royal priesthood, we are kings and queens of the earth, but if you are serving God in stubbornness, He will take your royal kingship from you 1 Samuel 15:22-23, 1Corinthians 10:4-6.

We are strong in the spiritual realm, but disobedience makes it null and void.

Every leader in the programme (minister), God is the one speaking through them, so listen to them. Genesis 18:2,19.

Be kind, be respectful, accommodate everyone because you don't know who is here. Genesis 18:2, 10, 17.

After obedience comes blessing, then comes revelation.

Whenever we cry to heaven, there is an answer, but before the answer, there is a courtroom in heaven, where the matter will be passed. There will be an investigation to know who you are in the kingdom. There is a test you must pass. Genesis 19:1-26, 4-8, 15.

Be careful, speak to everyone with respect. Lot escaped because of the love he showed strangers. His prayers were answered without him knowing. They were given instructions to obey, but Lot's wife disobeyed and she couldn't go further, nor go backward; she was stuck in time for eternity.

Disobedience stops us from going further in life.

Luke 22:42....Our Lord and Master Jesus, at the time to be crucified, He was in pain, but He said, 'not my will'. The instruction was hard. Our Father and Lord Jesus had to obey the Father.

As you are in this camp, make sure you obey His commandments, FEAR God.

If the angels come to you now for a test, will you pass? Just because they want to test you, they will come with the face of the person you don't know.

The Lord has done great and marvelous things in the lives of the youths, and they have come to testify to the deeds of God.

​It is a wonderful thing to always give glory to God for all He has done for us. While the blessings belong to us, the glory belongs to God Almighty alone.

​Testimonies are shared to build faith in the lives of the listeners, to thank the Lord, and to express our deep gratitude to Him. As we share our testimonies, the Lord will do even greater and more marvelous things in our midst!

Singing solemnly and wondrously, the Cameroon Choir in their ministration encouraged the congregation that today, there will be youths who'll know the Lord today, and you’ll be among them.

Let us hold on to Him after knowing Him, even after today, so that the crown and the limitless blessings reserved for those who know Him may be given to us.
