SCRIPTURE OF THE DAY

Philippians 4:6-7 MSG

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to learn to cast all my cares upon you. I believe today that you care so much for me. I surrender my challenges (name the challenge(s) you are facing) before your throne and I take up your yoke. I trade in my spirit of heaviness for the spirit of joy. I trade all my worries for wholeness in Jesus name.

Revelation 2:1-7 MSG

Write this to Ephesus, to the Angel of the church. The One with Seven Stars in his right-fist grip, striding through the golden seven-lights’ circle, speaks:

“I see what you’ve done, your hard, hard work, your refusal to quit. I know you can’t stomach evil, that you w**d out apostolic pretenders. I know your persistence, your courage in my cause, that you never wear out. “But you walked away from your first love—why? What’s going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you’ve fallen? A Lucifer fall! “Turn back! Recover your dear early love.

No time to waste, for I’m well on my way to removing your light from the golden circle. “You do have this to your credit: You hate the Nicolaitan business. I hate it, too. “Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. I’m about to call each conqueror to dinner. I’m spreading a banquet of Tree-of-Life fruit, a supper plucked from God’s orchard.”

PRAYER: Father, help me to always put you first in all I do.

1 John 2:15-17 MSG

Don’t love the world’s ways. Don’t love the world’s goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father. Practically everything that goes on in the world—wanting your own way, wanting everything for yourself, wanting to appear important—has nothing to do with the Father. It just isolates you from him. The world and all its wanting, wanting, wanting is on the way out—but whoever does what God wants is set for eternity.

PRAYER : Lord, Ignite my love for you. I ask that you help me to understand What's most important. I ask that you help me to be eternally minded in all I do today amen.

CONFESSIONS FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY 2015
THEME: THE RIVER OF LIFE

I thank God for bringing me into the month of February 2015, I declare that all the days in this month shall be days of signs and wonders for me. I declare that I and my family shall live in God’s fullness and abundant riches this month. I declare that I shall fulfill God’s purpose this month.
I thank God because I am created in the image and likeness of God. By the reason of his death on the cross, I have an eternal inheritance in the Kingdom of God. I subdue kingdoms, principalities and powers and rulers of darkness of this world. I have dominion over all that Jesus has dominion over.

By the blood of Jesus on the cross, I am connected to the divine life that flows in the Kingdom. I do not experience dryness, barrenness, confusion, delay. I am like a city set upon the hill that cannot be hidden. I am like a tree planted by the rivers of living water. My leaves do not wither and all I do, I prosper. That which is not planted by God be uprooted today. I am fruitful in and out of season. I take roots downward through the word of God and bear fruits upward through righteousness.

In this month I declare that I am a distributor of the life of God. Everything I touch receives the life of God. Everyone who comes in contact with me experiences freshness and renewed strength. I am a person of influence and relevance everywhere I go. I give life to every dead situation around me, therefore, I declare that everything dead in my life, my family, my business/career, my ministry in the name of Jesus, receive the life of God. I declare that this is a new season for me. My life shall be a source of preservation to destinies of men and women. I grow in leaps and in bounds. My life is a testimony of God’s faithfulness.

This month, I daily walk with the Holy Spirit in all I do. As I do his will and instructions, my life continually spreads God’s fragrance. I declare that I am the temple of the Lord. I declare that the Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me, therefore this spirit that raised Christ from the dead is giving life to my mortal body. Therefore every area of my body receives the life of God. I declare that my mind is quickened. I therefore no longer live according to the dictates of my flesh but according to the dictates of the Spirit of God that lives within me. I receive life and peace because I am spiritually minded. Therefore, I am being changed from good to better and from better to best. I am changing from glory to glory.

We declare that (name your country) shall arise and shine for her light has come and the glory of God is risen upon her. We declare peace on all sides of (name your country). We declare prosperity in our country. We declare that our leaders are men and women who integrity, honesty and honour. We declare that we are secured in God’s Goshen. Though the enemy may come in like a flood, the Lord will raise a standard against it. The gods that has not made the heavens and the earth shall perish out of (name your country) in Jesus name.

We bless God for His awesome grace and help throughout the year 2014 and in the month of January 2015. We believe that greater things are in store for us and we bless God in anticipation for the mighty things He will do.

All he’ll have to show for his life is w**ds! But the one who plants in response to God, letting God’s Spirit do the growth work in him, harvests a crop of real life, eternal life. So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit. Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith.

“Shout! A full-throated shout! Hold nothing back—a trumpet-blast shout! Tell my people what’s wrong with their lives, face my family Jacob with their sins! They’re busy, busy, busy at worship, and love studying all about me. To all appearances they’re a nation of right-living people— law-abiding, God-honoring. They ask me, ‘What’s the right thing to do?’ and love having me on their side. But they also complain, ‘Why do we fast and you don’t look our way? Why do we humble ourselves and you don’t even notice?’ “Well, here’s why: “The bottom line on your ‘fast days’ is profit. You drive your employees much too hard. You fast, but at the same time you bicker and fight. You fast, but you swing a mean fist. The kind of fasting you do won’t get your prayers off the ground. Do you think this is the kind of fast day I’m after: a day to show off humility? To put on a pious long face and parade around solemnly in black? Do you call that fasting, a fast day that I, God , would like? “This is the kind of fast day I’m after: to break the chains of injustice, get rid of exploitation in the workplace, free the oppressed, cancel debts. What I’m interested in seeing you do is: sharing your food with the hungry, inviting the homeless poor into your homes, putting clothes on the shivering ill-clad, being available to your own families. Do this and the lights will turn on, and your lives will turn around at once. Your righteousness will pave your way. The God of glory will secure your passage. Then when you pray, God will answer. You’ll call out for help and I’ll say, ‘Here I am.’ “If you get rid of unfair practices, quit blaming victims, quit gossiping about other people’s sins, If you are generous with the hungry and start giving yourselves to the down-and-out, Your lives will begin to glow in the darkness, your shadowed lives will be bathed in sunlight. I will always show you where to go. I’ll give you a full life in the emptiest of places— firm muscles, strong bones. You’ll be like a well-watered garden, a gurgling spring that never runs dry. You’ll use the old rubble of past lives to build anew, rebuild the foundations from out of your past. You’ll be known as those who can fix anything, restore old ruins, rebuild and renovate, make the community livable again. “If you watch your step on the Sabbath and don’t use my holy day for personal advantage, If you treat the Sabbath as a day of joy, God ’s holy day as a celebration, If you honor it by refusing ‘business as usual,’ making money, running here and there— Then you’ll be free to enjoy God ! Oh, I’ll make you ride high and soar above it all. I’ll make you feast on the inheritance of your ancestor Jacob.” Yes! God says so!
