What a powerful time in God’s presence!

Spotlight: Colossians 2
Text: Genesis 49:1–7
Preacher: Pastor Sunday Balogun
Topic: Breaking Old Patterns & Setting New Orders

This Sunday, we were reminded of a powerful truth: a curse is not final! Every negative pattern, judgement, or consequence is not beyond redemption. Through Christ, old patterns can be broken and new orders can be established.

From the story of Levi, we learned that the same passion and energy that once worked against them could be redirected toward God. Your past does not have to determine your future.

Sometimes, breaking a pattern requires us to act differently, sow differently, pray differently, and live differently. Whether the pattern comes through behaviour, environment, family or community, intentionality is required to establish a new order.

You cannot keep doing the same things and expect a different result.

Every time you pray, fast, obey God's Word and walk in His will, you are sowing into the Spirit. And as you consistently sow into the things of God, you position yourself to break old cycles and build a stronger future.

Old patterns can be broken. New orders can be established. Your story can change!

THANKSGIVING SERVICE RECAP

It was a powerful Thanksgiving Service filled with gratitude, wisdom, and a deeper understanding of the power of giving.

One powerful truth from the message is that life is governed by principles, not emotions. It is not enough to hear or write down principles; what produces results is putting them into practice.

“The values you add to others and to a place determine what life will offer you.”

We were reminded that giving goes beyond finances. We must first develop ourselves, add value to others, learn from mentors, and become intentional about our contribution to society. There is no need to dig a new well when someone has already dug one, learn, grow, and apply wisdom.

As we grow and experience increase, we are also called to give financially towards the advancement of God’s Kingdom. Through our tithes and offerings, we demonstrate our commitment to the Kingdom and participate in its growth.

Develop yourself. Add value. Give generously. Experience MORE.
