THINK COVENANT
Gen 25:6 But Abraham gave gifts to the sons of the concubines which Abraham had; and while he was still living he sent them eastward, away from Isaac his son, to the country of the east.
Abraham gave all his earthly possessions to the sons of his concubines and sent them away so they couldn't even help Isaac had they wanted to. Isaac probably felt his father didn't love him enough and would have also remembered his father's attempt to sacrifice him. This would have caused self doubt and disillusionment; to be left with no earthly possession though he was the legitimate child!
You might be in the same address as Isaac was; you might have lost your breadwinner or been abandoned by the one you trusted most. Know today that though they are gone, God is still very much around and He will come through for you.
Gen 26:13 "The man began to prosper… “
This tells me that there was a time Isaac was in a low state before he began to prosper, a time he had to live from hand to mouth, a time he had no roof over his head and no family to turn to. Oh but a year came when Isaac's story changed! This is your day of change.
Isaac refused to remain in that address. He remembered that the promise was upon him so he took action by sowing. The result? Gen 26: 13 The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous;
God says to tell you that you might have begun the year in shame and disgrace but if you will live in the consciousness of the covenant and take action with that understanding, testimonies will locate you. God is set to give you a reward that shallows up the results of the last 11 months! You have been following people in the past but now they will begin to follow you.
Always remember that your own picture is a far glorious one as the true son of Abraham (Gal 3:7). By your faith, you have entered into a much better covenant than that of the Jewish people. Get ready for immeasurable growth.
CONFESSION: I am achieving tremendous success. I will prosper and will continue to prosper until I become prosperous!
PRAYER: Thank you Father for your covenant over me. Thank you for your intricate plan of grafting me into your covenant.
