TWENTY-FIRST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME (Year A) | Rev. Fr. Nathaniel Akortsaha (SDB)

“You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” — Matthew 16:16

Today, the Gospel invites us to reflect on one of the most important questions of our faith: Who is Jesus to me?

Peter boldly declares that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. His profession of faith reminds us that following Christ begins with knowing Him, believing in Him, and trusting Him with our lives.

Jesus also gives Peter a special mission, saying, “You are Peter, and on this rock I will build my Church.” This reminds us of the importance of the Church and our call to remain united in faith, love, and service.

May we have the courage to profess our faith like Peter, remain faithful to Christ in every situation, and allow His word to guide our daily lives.

May our faith not only be something we profess with our lips, but something we live through our words, actions, love, and service to others.

May Christ strengthen our faith, bless our families, and keep us firmly rooted in His Church.

On this Twenty-First Sunday in Ordinary Time, we are reminded of Peter’s powerful profession of faith in Jesus. Like Peter, may we recognize Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God, and place our lives firmly in Him.

May our faith remain strong, our hearts stay faithful, and our lives always bear witness to Christ. 🙏

Two Weeks of Fun, Learning & Growth!

Two amazing weeks of fun, games, skill acquisition, learning, faith, creativity, and friendship it!

The Don Bosco Youth, Children & Teens Summer Camp 2026 in our Parish was filled with exciting games, practical skill acquisition, talent development, inspiring lessons, teamwork, and unforgettable moments. From learning new skills to making new friends and having fun together, every day was a wonderful experience!

A big thank you to all the children, teens, animators, volunteers, parents, and everyone who contributed to making this camp a great success.
