Theme: Enhancing Prayer Power.

Six things that add pep to your prayer;

1. Believe Mk 11:24, Lk1:45
All things are possible to him that believes. Blessed is she that believes, for there shall be a performance of the that which the Lord has spoken. If you don't believe what you are praying, why bother at all?

2. Forgive, Mk 11:25
When you stand praying, forgive.
This statement follows the injunction by Jesus Christ to believe what we pray in order to receive. A congested heart can not meditate or focus. You need focus to deliver concentrated power for answered prayer. Don't keep other peoples thrash. Let it go.

3. Follow peace with all men and Holiness. Heb 12:14.
In prayer, we expect an encounter with God. He will come in a still small voice. You need a heart at peace to recognize His presence and hear or see Him. Be at peace at all times. Maintain the presence of the Holy Spirit to see God and hear Him. His presence is the answer you seek in prayer.

4. Persist Lk 11:5-10, 18:1-8
When Satan breaks your home, he is not trying to take your wife. When he wrecks your car, he ain't looking for a new ride. Every satanic affliction targets your faith. Like the distressed friend, knock until you get your bread. Like the widow, keep at it till you receive justice. Deploy the PUSH principle; Pray Until Something Happens. Staying on your prayer point till it is answered is an act if faith.

5. Humility Lk 18:10-14, Mt23:12
Humility entails staying focused in the face of distractions. When you set out to pray, Satan throws every thing at you to stop you. He more than everyone knows the power of prayer. Forget the next-door neighbour, forget pretty lady behind or beside you. Forget the unpaid rent, the seemingly unqualified man who just gave a testimony of blessings. Focus on God, the giver of all good gifts. HE holds your answers, and it is His good pleasure to give you the kingdom. All remember, pride goes before s fall. Don't give to pride like our Pharisee here.

6. This is for the married men strictly.
Dwell with your wives according to knowledge. Understand their needs and meet them. Treat them well as joint heirs of the grace of life. To one purpose: THAT YOUR PRAYERS BE NOT HINDERED.
This does not need any expatiating.

Inculcate this power enhancements to your prayer life, and watch great things begin to happen when you kneel prayer. Beginning today,
May heaven answer when you call.
May demons declare at your rebuke; Jesus I know, Paul I know, and Leonard (whatever your own name is) I know!
May you become a terror to darkness when you kneel,

The greatest tragedy that can befall a breathing being is a life with unknown purpose.

Nothing reveals purpose like gratitude.
Nothing empowers more than gratitude.
Nothing gives altitude more than gratitude.
The story of the 10 lepers in Luke 17 captures this theme powerfully. Not only does Jesus receive the acknowledgement, he asked after the nine ungrateful lepers. Where the returning one sees himself giving thanks to God, the LORD sees him as expressing FAITH!!!

Hence, he says to him 'thy faith has made thee whole'. Whatever heaven downloaded for you this year, as you return to give thanks , God will make you whole. It's less than 24 hours from now. Keep a date with us. God bless you as you come.

Born into the Fight.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

The big challenge for the Church in our era comes from the product on offer.

The Church offers a worry-free philosophy; Hakuna Matata! Accept Jesus Christ and all your worries are over!!!
Unfortunately, that is not what Jesus Christ gave us. He called us to enlist in a FIGHT. A BATTLE. A WAR!!!

Why do we need power to become sons?(Jn 1:12)
Before you got Born Again, you were a slave, subject under task masters. You had no fighting chance. You were oppressed, flogged on all fronts. With no opportunity to fight back. You were a prisoner even to your conscience. You needed the power of Jesus to break lose.

Fast forward to your new reality in Christ;

2 Timothy 2:3
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
2:4
No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Paul refers to the breakthrough promises as entanglement with the affairs of this life. Instead, he encourages us to;

1 Timothy 6:12
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

The trophy is eternal life. But you lay hold on it by a fight. A fight, not a breakthrough. To sell breakthrough as the attraction for being born again is to short-sell the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You may not like to hear this, but it is eternal truth: God is not as interested in your comfort as HE is in your character. He doesn't care so much for your happiness as HE does your Holiness. So to think Jesus died for you to get material blessings is a short-change of from the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus Christ.

We're called into and taught to fight.

THEME: LIFE LINES.

Text: John 10:10..I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Only the one with life, can bring life. So is this quote from Jesus Christ tenable?

John 1:4
In him was life; and the life was the light of men.

All life exists in single linear packets. For years, science has struggled with the behavior of light. Is linear ( photons) or sinusoidal ( waves)? We are not here to resolve that.

We want to establish the truth that there is only one power ruling creation. Life powers everything along linear divides. In other words, there is no such thing as light and darkness, or cold and heat or love and hate etc.

These varied degrees of manifestation of life.

Hear Him speak;
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Life made all things John 1:3

Life built all things Heb 3:4

Life made the heavens with their hosts, the earth and all things therein, the sea and all that's in it. Neh 9:6

Life made the world and all that it contains. Acts 7:50; 14:15; 17:24.

The earth is the Lord's , and the fullness thereof; the world and the people that dwell therein.

Scriptures acknowledge this linear packets.

Genesis 8:22
While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.

But the power that runs them is of God. Life runs things

Psalms 62:11
God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this; that power belongeth unto God.

Whatever is missing in your life signifies that Life is absent.

Death is the absence of Life
Poverty is financial death
Cold shows the death of heat
Illnesses show the absence of health
Weakness means no strength

If you doubt me hear this

1 Samuel 15:29
And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for he is not a man, that he should repent.
To Moses, HE revealed Himself as I AM THAT I AM. There is none like Him. He makes His power available for all to recreate our world, to be a witness, to make wealth, to eat wealth, to do as occasion serve thee. Receive Him today and see your worldview change.

It starts with heeding this;
I AM come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Why might? It is only possible when you receive what is given.

John 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
