*THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CHILDISHNESS AND CHILDLIKENESS*

*CHILDISHNESS*: these are negative attitudes that children show. They include worries, fear, crying, selfishness, ignorance, weakness and all those necessary things children display. God's expectation is that we grow above this level to the fullness of Christ stature.

*CHILDLIKENESS* means all those lovely things children display like faith, forgiveness, reverence, boldness and dependence. These are qualities God expects from us if we are to enjoy God's kingdom which we have come into

The same bible that that says if we must enter the kingdom of God, we must be like children,

*Matthew 18:3*
*And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.*

*1 Corinthians 14:20*
*Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men.*

*PRAY BEFORE YOU SLEEP*

I once heard a story of a Believer who was an Arab businessman. He journeyed through the desert 🏜️ for his trading route.

For sometime some thieves monitored his movement and tried to rob him when he slept in the desert some nights. What surprised them was that when they reached the area he laid to rob him, they always met this gigantic wall which they had not seen during during the day.

This continued until one night when the thieves tried to rob him but this time they did not see any wall. Instead of robbing him, they woke him up gently and narrated their ordeal. They asked him where the wall was. "I think its because I forgot to pray this night because I was too tired that's why you had no wall to stop you"

Moral lesson: Don't be too tired to pray. Pray before you sleep always.

*ENLIGHTENER*

*YOU NEED AN ANANIAS*

*Acts 9:17* And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

No, I am not talking about Sapphira's husband who conspired with his wife to lie to the church about the money from land they sold.

I am talking about a regular brother in the church who was not even among the apostles but our Lord Jesus sent him to lay his hands on Paul that he might receive his sight as well as be filled with the Holy ghost. Why did the Lord not send any of popular Apostles to Paul?

One of the major problem of the modern day church is the lack of Ananiases. Ananias is that regular brother, who may not have any post in the church but has a strong relationship with the Lord and is sent to your life by Jesus to help you cover your basics. To help you have a good foundation. To introduce you to the Holy ghost. To teach you how to relate with the Holy ghost. To remove the scales that cover your eyes and to impart God's life in you. He will show you how to live in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

The problem is that when God sends such people to us we look down on them may be because they are not among the church leaders, have a popular name or they may not come with much pump, thereby we miss out from God's plan for our lives.

Do you notice that Ananias called him *Brother* Saul? The same Saul that killed a lot of Christians.
We all need this type of people, who will love us as new converts even when others are judging us and wondering if we are really saved. Many have gone astray and stumbled into false doctrine because no one was there to guide them at the early stages of their walk with God.

God can also use you as he used Ananias to help someone else cover his basics but you must grow into maturity and make yourself available.

Paul may have achieved a lot even greater than Ananias and other Apostles but thank God for Ananias who helped with laying good foundation in his life. You are going to be very great dear reader but have you gone through the Ananias of your life?

THE VALLEY OF ACHOR

“And I will give her her Vineyards from thence, AND THE VALLEY OF ACHOR FOR A DOOR OF HOPE.” Hosea 2 :15A

In this verse above, God’s promises to use the same things that brought shame, despair and death into our lives to usher glory into our lives.

What is The Valley of Achor? Literarily, the valley of Achor is the valley where Achan and his entire family where thrown into, stoned and set ablaze because of Achan’s greed and disobedient when he took the materials of the heathen which the Lord instructed his country (Israel) not to touch. Find the entire story in the book Joshua 7: 1-26. Now after hundreds of years, God uses Zechariah the prophet to revisit the issue. Now, God revisits the issue of the valley of Achor with a very hopeful and loving approach, saying that the same valley of Achor where an entire kindred were isolated and shamefully destroyed will be for a Door of Hope. God revisited the issue first through the prophet Isaiah where he said, “And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, AND THE VALLEY OF ACHOR A PLACE FOR THE HERDS TO LIE DOWN IN, FOR MY PEOPLE THAT HAVE SOUGHT ME.” Isaiah 65 : 10

The valley of Achor represents that ministry, relationship, body, business, location, child that has ridiculously embarrassed you. It represents those talents or God-given visions, gifts or divine assignments you have experienced remarkable shame in. Here, men have ridiculed you, gossiped about you, thrown right accusations and false accusations against you. These are areas you have been rejected, despised, abandoned. Here men and demons contributed to destroy that dream, to quench your spirit and leave you and your loved ones in the hands of death.
But God still has hope in that situation. If we receive Jesus, or as believers, if we turn our face back to him in prayer, bringing that situation before him he will bring back gory.

He will NOT CHANGE that marriage or that business or that God given assignment, that child and so on, NO, he won’t. He will use that same shame stricken, painful, embarrassing marriage or that business or that God given assignment, that child and so on to showcase his glory. He will choose no other place to reveal his glory than (the valley of Achor) that same place where you have been shamed. He will choose no other place to reveal his riches than that same part of your life that has been marked with poverty. He will choose no other place to reveal his healing than that sick body. He will choose no other person to reveal his purity and strength and victory over sexual sins and various addictions than that same person that was weak, helpless and addicted to sin.

The work has been done. What Jesus did on his cross was that He made every valley Achor in your life to be a door of hope. So it has already done it for you. Live your life in this understanding of what has been done and pray it into manifestation as the Spirit leads.

He chose to restore time

And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the canker worm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. Joel 2: 25 kjv

In this verse God did not promise to restore business, marriage, children, money and so on, rather of all things he chose to restore wasted YEARS i.e. lost time.
One of the strategies of Satan is to make you waste time in sin and also loose time when being punished for the sin. For instance, let’s say a person spends twenty years in a particular sin. Later on, he or she stops sinning due to weakness then the repercussions of past sins start coming back for the next thirty years. This equals to fifty years of wasted living. David who slept with Uriah’s wife will tell you better about repercussion. The time the individual would have used to serve God, pursue his or her dreams and become better is used in for wrong doing. Satan himself knows how precious time is and knows it cannot be regained when lost. A stolen car, a lost phone, a broken marriage, a wounded body can all be restored but who can restore lost time.

Many aged people wish they could turn back of time so they will take that action or pursue that dream but such lifelong visions need more life time to achieve and its starting point should have been at youth, when there is energy, vitality, ideas are fresh and there is enough time space. They feel choked; they feel they wasted their youth.
Some of them feel haunted by past sins, and wish they were given another chance because the guilt they feel from those sins keeps making them continually sorry and worried in thoughts, loosing peace of mind. They then start developing high blood pressure under the weight of these bad thoughts that Satan specializes in throwing at their weak mind, messing around with it.

The truth is that time gives you space to achieve. When you’ve got time you can comfortably chase that dream without being under pressure. When people know they do have time, or they did what they should do when they should have done it, it makes them fulfilled and enthused. They are filled with confidence. The reason some people were not choked in time was because the mercy of God helped them: had the right information; focused on the right things and not on just good things talk less of bad things; took the right action; overcame sickness and distractions that will alter their cause in life.

Whatever the case is, God is aware of this so he promises to restore time. He knows you need time to fix that relationship, to make wealth, to fulfill your divine calling, to win those souls that God assigned to you. He doesn’t just forgive you of all your sins, he doesn’t just give you back your health, and he addition gives you back the time spent in sin and sickness. He doesn’t just give you knowledge; he also restores the time spent in ignorance. He doesn’t just set you free, he restores the time you spent in bo***ge. This is what God does by his mighty hand.

If we believe in Jesus, he puts his unimaginable power in you through his Spirit. This power brings forward the lost time, adding it to the time you have and causes the time to be so fruitful, helping you to achieve very much in very little space of time. You will at that time look like someone that never passed through all those bad days because you are replenished in nutrients. The days of trouble shall be forgotten as their memories will be replaced with memories of more pleasant happenings.
Receive Jesus, he makes you a new you that gains time lost by the old you.

Beautiful Feet

“How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Thy God reigns!” Isaiah 52: 7
This verse makes us know that God is in the business of beautifying his people who disperse the good news of our Lord Jesus. He takes good care of them and is interested in their beauty.

The feet we all know is the part of man that has more chances of being dirty because it is usually exposed to dust and dirt as it is the closest part of the body to the ground. However, God talks to us on the contrary. He makes us understand that as long as we make it a duty in these last days to bring forth good tidings to everyone around us even our ‘feet’ that is every detail of our lives will radiate his beauty.

So if we intend to showcase God’s glorious beauty we already know the key. The key is to bring forth good tidings. The promise of beauty in that verse as we can see is not for everyone rather it is uniquely for those that bring forth good tidings upon the mountains. ‘The mountains’ here stands for holiness that is separation from worldly standards. ‘Bringing Good tidings’ refer to actively letting people know about what God has done, is doing and can do if they submit to Him through our Lord Jesus Christ.

In practice, are you actively involved in letting people know and be informed about God’s glory (bringing forth good tidings) or are just chasing the beauty of God through other means without seeing the distribution God’s word as important. Instead of forever sleeping in prayer houses, lighting endless candles, drinking endless anointing oils and buying large amounts of anointed handkerchiefs in search of God’s beauty why not key into the shortcut revealed in this verse which is bringing forth the good tidings of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and you will see that even your feet will be taken care of by God himself.

"When thou didst terrible things WHICH WE LOOKED NOT FOR, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence". (Isaiah 64:3).
God is in the business of filling our lives with suprises. He does things we never planned for or asked all for our good. He goes beyond our prayer points and performs as Paul puts it, 'exceedingly, abundntly and above".
His presence dissolves mountains that we may never have known existed. He understands that we lack words to express our inner desires. He is merciful to our prayerless lifestyle. Challenges are dealt with without our consent.
Being God's child exposes us to favourable experiences which we LOOKED NOT FOR, thanks be to Jesus death on the cross. Are you His indeed.

But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand. (Isaiah 64: 8.) Even in the old testament Isaiah caught the revelation of God's fatherhood. We should understand that God expects intimacy with us.
