YOUTH WEEK ANNIVERSARY THANKSGIVING

Theme: FROM REFINEMENT TO REVIVAL
The Youth organization of CCC Government Layout Cathedral joyfully rounded off its Youth Week Anniversary with a glorious and memorable Thanksgiving Service, themed “From Refinement to Revival.” The service was a beautiful expression of gratitude to God for His faithfulness, guidance, protection, and the success of all the activities throughout the Youth Week.
The Thanksgiving Service commenced at about 10:00 p.m., with Brother Iyanu serving as the Service Conductor. The atmosphere was filled with joy, thanksgiving, worship, and excitement as the youths gathered together in the main auditorium to celebrate the goodness of God.
The service featured an impactful Bible Lesson, delivered by Brother Tobi and Brother Daniel, who shared insightful teachings that encouraged the youths to deepen their relationship with God and remain committed to spiritual growth.
One of the highlights of the programme was the presence of the Youth Alumni, who honoured and presented an award to Iya Eso of the Children Department in recognition of her contribution and service.
The Youth Sub-Committee also recognized and celebrated twelve outstanding individuals who had demonstrated commitment, consistency, dedication, and active participation in Youth Department activities. Twelve Merit Awards were presented to deserving youths in appreciation of their service, support, and commitment to the growth and success of the Youth
As part of the Youth Department's commitment to continuous development, the Youth Coordinator commenced a three-month Mentorship Class online, providing an avenue for young people to receive guidance, build their capacity, develop their leadership skills, and grow spiritually and personally.
The final presentation of the programme was delivered by Brother Samuel and Sister Iyanuoluwa, adding another meaningful dimension to the celebration and a special certificate of recognition was giving to everyone of them
The sermon during the service was particularly impactful. The Sermoner carefully explained and expounded the theme, “From Refinement to Revival,” breaking down the message in a simple and practical manner that enabled the youths to understand its spiritual significance and application to their daily lives.
The Youth Sub-Committee was also presented with a Certificate of Appreciation/Recognition in acknowledgment of their dedication, sacrifice, teamwork, and excellent work toward the success of the Youth Week Anniversary.
The celebration continued with a Special Thanksgiving and Dance Session, during which the youths expressed their gratitude to God through joyful praises and dancing. A special Ipese featuring beans and bread was also observed, adding to the fellowship and celebration.

The Youth Department sincerely appreciates the Shepherd, Council of Elders, Parochial Committee, Church Management, Youth Executive, Youth Sub-Committee, Youth Alumni, members of the youth and every individual who contributed in one way or another toward the success of the Youth Week Anniversary.
We especially appreciate our Shepherd for his fatherly support, guidance, encouragement, and prayers throughout the programme. At the conclusion of the Thanksgiving Service, the Shepherd prayed and pronounced blessings upon all the youths, committing their lives, future, careers, relationships, spiritual growth, and destinies into the hands of God.
Indeed, the Youth Week Anniversary was more than a programme; it was a journey of refinement, renewal, growth, and revival. We give all glory to God for bringing us this far and for the testimonies, lessons, friendships, and spiritual experiences gained throughout the celebration.
APPRECIATION
To every youth who participated, served, sacrificed, invited others, contributed financially, supported the activities, joined the rehearsals, attended the programmes, and worked behind the scenes, we say a very big thank you.
Your dedication made the celebration a success.
May the fire of revival that has been ignited continue to burn brightly in every youth, and may the lessons of refinement continue to produce a generation that is spiritually grounded, purpose-driven, disciplined, and committed to God's work.
