A glimpse from my book titled: BECOMING A WOMAN OF VIRTUE
I give this portion the title: A GOOD NAME
God easily forgives us our sins but we would still face the consequences of our past wrongs. Our past is capable of soiling our name. Although changed, men called her Rahab the harlot. A changed thief is a thief no matter what so also once a liar is a liar. Some little sins spoil the vine. Song of Solomon 2:15. The consequence of evil in not just punishment but that it can tarnish our self-image or reputation. People are often called or recognized by what they do or whom they are whether good or bad. For instance, Simon was called or known as Simon the l***r even though he had been cleansed, Blind Bartimeous, Elymas the sorcerer, Naaman the l***r, the mad man of Garderene, the woman with the issue of blood, e.tc. What do people know you for?
It is imperative we choose a good name.
A good name is to be chosen than great riches, Loving favour rather than silver and gold. Proverbs 22:1

I know that there are so many breads but there is one THEBREAD OF LIFE.
I know that there are so many waters even great water body but there is one THE LIVING WATER.
I know that there are so many cross but there is THECROSS OF CALVARY
I know that there are so many men but there is one THE MAN OF CALVARY
I know that there are so many crowns but there one THE CROWN OF THRONS
I know that there are so many fathers but there is one THE EVRELASTING FATHER
I know there are so many princes but there is one THE PRINCE OF PEACE
I know that there are so many word but there is one THE WORD FROM THE BEGINNING
