The excitement in the room was undeniable; dance, joy, and dedication filled every corner of the celebration.

It was a beautiful expression of love for God and fellowship, seen in every smile, every song, and every moment of shared joy. A gathering alive with energy, gratitude, and pure delight.

The youth bands of Joanna and Hephzibah had their 1st anniversary and it was all shades of glorious.

With the theme, “The Goodness of God,” the atmosphere was filled with gratitude, joy, beauty, laughter, and heartfelt moments that gently reminded everyone how faithful God is.

Unbelief quietly affects prayer because some believers approach God without genuine expectation.

Deep down, they doubt His willingness to respond. Yet faith produces boldness before God. Scripture says that whoever comes to God must believe that He is, and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

Faith grows through Scripture, remembering testimonies, remaining in spiritually strengthening environments, and continuing to approach God even while faith is still growing.

Fear also keeps many people distant from intimacy with God.

Some fear judgment, while others fear disappointment because of unanswered prayers or painful experiences.

Fear makes honest fellowship difficult. Healing comes through growing in the knowledge of God’s love, worshipping consistently, praying sincerely before God, and remembering that the throne believers approach is called the throne of grace.

Ignorance of identity in Christ causes many believers to approach God like servants trying to earn acceptance instead of children received by grace.

Scripture reminds us that through Christ we have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Confidence grows when believers understand sonship, meditate on who God says they are in Christ, and become rooted in covenant relationship with Him.

Condemnation weakens confidence before God by constantly reminding believers of weakness, inadequacies, and past failures.

Conviction says, “Return to God,” but condemnation says, “Stay away.” Scripture says, “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus.”

Freedom comes through meditating on the finished work of Christ, renewing the mind with Scripture, rejecting lies that oppose God’s mercy, and remembering that access is based on Christ and not personal perfection.
