Some parents fear that asking questions or setting boundaries might push their children away but in truth, silence is what pushes them into danger. A child without correction is like a ship without a compass, it may move fast, but it is lost.

You are not just your child’s cheerleader; you are their guide. It is your responsibility to say, “This is right” and “That is wrong.” When your child begins to bring home things they cannot explain, it is not love to ignore it — it is negligence.

Be firm, yet loving. Be open, yet principled. Set standards in your home that say, *“We do not celebrate wealth without integrity.”* Let your home be a place where values are more important than valuables.

Some parents have lost their children to prison, disgrace, or even death, not because they didn’t love them, but because they didn’t lead them. Let us not be counted among those who raised children that the world feared instead of respected.

Raise them with faith. Raise them with truth. Raise them with accountability.

We live in a time where society celebrates results without questioning the means. But as Christian parents, we must not adopt this mindset. When your child suddenly starts living beyond their means, dressing lavishly, or spending recklessly, do not keep silent. Silence can sometimes be seen as approval.

Ask questions — not out of suspicion, but out of love. Get involved in their lives, their businesses, their friendships, and their spiritual well-being. Many young people fall into destructive paths simply because no one cared enough to ask, "How did this happen?"

Let us raise children who are not only successful but are also proud of the honest journey that took them there. Let us teach them that dignity matters more than display, and that true peace comes not from possessions, but from a clear conscience.

A good name is better than gold. Help your children build a future that will not haunt them tomorrow.

Many parents today measure their children's progress by material things like money, cars, expensive clothes, or flashy lifestyles. But we must remember that not all wealth is genuine, and not every form of success is honourable.

It is easy to celebrate when your child brings home sudden riches, but have you paused to ask where it came from? Did it come through hard work, integrity, and perseverance? Or through shortcuts that can destroy their future like fraud, crime, or dangerous activities?

True success is not measured by how much money your child has but by the values they uphold, the peace they possess, and the reputation they build. As parents, we have a duty to guide our children, not just to be wealthy, but to be responsible, honest, and God-fearing.

Let us not be blinded by material wealth that we ignore the path our children take. Always be curious, always be involved, and always encourage success that is built on hard work, patience, and integrity.

Remember: Wealth without accountability can lead to shame, but wealth built with honesty brings lasting joy.
