𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗧𝗼 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 (1)

Psalm 42:1-2:

"As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God."

"My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

Building a prayer life begins with 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱. True fellowship is born out of love — a longing, a desire to be with someone you value deeply.

Can you remember someone you loved so much that you rearranged your schedule just to spend time with them?

In the same way, how you esteem God in your heart determines how desperately you seek moments of fellowship with him.

Prayer is not merely an activity; it is an expression of value. It reflects how much you treasure your time with God. Prayer is about enjoying communion with Him — just as you would in any living and loving relationship.

𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲; 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲. You must cultivate hunger for God before you can sustain the habit of prayer.

MOVING IN GOD'S DIRECTION

Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left. Isaiah 30:21

God is at every cross road you find yourself waiting to see if you will lean on him for direction. He can help you determine the best path for your life.

Every time you want to make a decision, ask him if that's the right thing to do. Believe him to guide you as you have asked, then listen to your heart.

He will speak to your heart and how you know is that you will experience peace about a particular direction you choose to follow. Absence of peace always connotes moving in the wrong direction.

This is what the lord says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the lord your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow.

Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea. Isaiah 48:17-18

May the Lord in this season of your life, grant you wisdom to determine the path that is good and profitable for you!

SEASON OF GRACE

The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool... Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. John 5:7-8

It is at that point when you shift your focus from man that you find grace with God

Hope and trust in man has often been a hindrance to the manifestations of the grace of God in the life of a man

At that point when you look around and there is no man paying attention to your sufferings, nobody is willing or coming to help you; everybody is too busy with their own ambitions that they can hardly stop to see how you are faring is your moment of visitation. Don't miss it

Be sensitive in seasons when you are rejected, neglected and all the men whom you hoped on never seem to feel your pains or willing to help. There is an intervention that God wants to bring into your life that is beyond human power to accomplish

One secret to finding the grace of God in seasons of difficulties, pains and struggles is to cast your cares on God
