My pastor looked me in the eyes and asked one question that broke me.
"How can someone pray this much... and still be this broke?"
I laughed.
But when I got home that night, I cried.
Because the truth is... I didn't have an answer.
Maybe this is your story too.
You love God.
You are not into fraud.
You don't steal.
You don't do rituals.
You don't cheat people.
You even fast more than many people you know.
Yet somehow...
Money enters your account in the morning and disappears before evening.
You keep saying,
"Next month will be better."
But every month looks exactly like the previous one.
Tell me if this sounds familiar.
You finally save ₦150,000.
Suddenly somebody falls sick.
School fees appear.
Your phone spoils.
Your landlord starts calling.
Before you know it...
The account is empty again.
Or maybe you are the type that works from morning till night.
You have two businesses.
You sell online.
You hustle.
You post every day.
Customers say,
"I will pay tomorrow."
Tomorrow never comes.
Others copy your business and somehow become successful before you.
Meanwhile you're asking,
"God... what exactly am I doing wrong?"
That question haunted me for years.
The day I became tired of being "almost successful"
I wasn't born with money.
I know what it means to check your account before buying bread.
I know what it means to calculate transport fare before leaving the house.
I know what it feels like to pretend you're okay when everyone thinks ministry means money is flowing.
There was a season every prophecy over my life sounded the same.
"Your breakthrough is close."
"This month will surprise you."
"God is opening doors."
I believed every word.
Then nothing happened.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Do you know the most painful kind of poverty?
Not the one where nothing comes.
The one where something always comes close... then disappears.
Almost getting married.
Almost travelling abroad.
Almost buying land.
Almost getting promoted.
Almost closing that big contract.
Almost receiving that alert.
I started calling it the spirit of Almost There.
One day I opened my Bible and everything changed.
I discovered something many Christians have never been taught.
Daniel prayed.
The Bible says God answered him the very first day.
Read that again.
The first day.
But Daniel didn't receive the answer immediately.
Why?
Because something stood in the way.
The Prince of Persia resisted the answer.
That scripture hit me like thunder.
I asked myself...
What if some battles are not because God said NO... but because something is resisting YES?
That night I couldn't sleep.
I started studying Scripture differently.
Genesis.
Exodus.
Judges.
Daniel.
Isaiah.
Malachi.
I kept seeing one pattern.
God wanted His people to prosper.
But there were spiritual forces fighting their harvest.
Then I noticed something else.
Many Christians know how to pray for blessings...
But very few know how to pray against what is blocking blessings.
That realization changed my life.
Then something happened that scared me.
I remembered my family history.
People worked hard.
Very hard.
Yet nobody crossed a certain financial level.
Some started businesses.
Businesses collapsed.
Some travelled abroad.
Returned with nothing.
Some built houses.
Everything stopped halfway.
It was as if there was an invisible ceiling.
Have you noticed this in some families?
Everybody survives.
Nobody truly prospers.
You start doing well...
Then one strange problem appears.
Money finishes.
Another setback starts.
You recover.
Another problem comes.
It's like somebody is collecting salary from your destiny.
I became angry.
Holy anger.
The kind that says,
"Enough is enough."
I told God,
I refuse to hand poverty over to my children.
That's when the 14-day journey began.
Not ordinary fasting.
Not "skip breakfast and sleep."
A deliberate spiritual warfare fast.
Every morning.
Every evening.
Every midnight.
Scriptures.
Prayer points.
Repentance.
Declarations.
Practical financial actions.
I wasn't just praying.
I was confronting every cycle I could identify.
The first day dealt with delay.
The second day confronted ancestral poverty.
Another day dealt with financial devourers — that mysterious force that makes money disappear after you receive it.
Another day was about breaking stagnation and smallness.
Then came prayers for destiny helpers, supernatural speed, favor, restoration, and wealth ideas.
It wasn't emotional prayer.
It was strategic prayer.
And something inside me changed before anything around me changed.
The signs started showing up.
I became bolder.
Ideas started flowing.
People I hadn't spoken to in years suddenly called.
Opportunities appeared from places I never expected.
Some doors didn't just open...
They broke open.
Listen carefully.
I'm not saying every prayer produces money overnight.
I'm saying something happens when faith, obedience, prayer and action align.
Your mindset changes.
Your confidence changes.
You stop expecting defeat.
You start moving differently.
And when you move differently...
You begin to see opportunities you used to ignore.
That is one of the biggest lessons in this guide.
Let me ask you something honestly.
How many times have you prayed...
Then complained immediately after praying?
How many times have you declared abundance...
But spent the whole day saying,
"Nigeria is hard."
"Nothing works."
"There's no money anywhere."
The Bible says life and death are in the power of the tongue.
This guide doesn't only teach prayer.
It teaches spiritual discipline.
Faith.
Diligence.
Consistency.
Because even the Bible says faith without works is dead.
Who is this guide really for?
This guide is for the woman who cries after everyone sleeps because feeding her children has become difficult.
It's for the man who has certificates but no job.
It's for the business owner whose sales suddenly stopped.
It's for the graduate tired of rejection emails.
It's for the worker whose salary disappears within three days.
It's for the Christian who is tired of borrowing.
It's for the family that is tired of repeating the same financial story every generation.
If you've ever said...
"God, I'm tired."
You'll understand every page.

Can I tell you the biggest lie poverty tells?
"This is how your life will always be."
No.
Your surname is not your destiny.
Your background is not your future.
Where you came from does not have to determine where you end.
Somebody has to become the first person in the family to break the cycle.
Why not you?
Imagine 14 days from now...
Imagine waking up every morning with direction.
Imagine praying with confidence instead of fear.
Imagine replacing hopelessness with expectation.
Imagine believing again.
Because hopeless people stop trying.
Faithful people keep moving.
This is your sign.
Stop scrolling for one minute.
If something inside you is saying,
"This message is for me..."
Don't ignore it.
