“A Love Stronger Than the Grave”

Set me as a seal upon your heart,
As a signet upon your arm—
For love burns fierce like holy fire,
Unquenched by storms, untouched by harm.

Many waters cannot drown this flame,
Nor rivers sweep its glow away;
It rises still through darkest night
And turns the shadowed skies to day.

My beloved speaks, and my soul awakens—
His voice, a call I can’t ignore:
“Rise up, my love, the winter is over,
Come away with me once more.”

I am my beloved’s, and He is mine,
In gardens where His mercies grow;
He leads me past the fear of loss
To fields where living waters flow.

No treasure weighs as much as this,
No price can buy what love has done—
A gift poured out, a life laid down,
A victory that love has won.

And as the echo of passion lingers,
A deeper truth begins to rise:
This love is more than human longing—
It is the flame that never dies.

For this is Christ, the Bridegroom King,
Who gave His heart to set us free;
And we, His Church, His radiant bride,
Are bound to Him eternally.
