After Abram and Lot separated, God spoke to Abram and told him to lift his eyes and look in every direction. What stood out to me is that God asked him to look from where he was.

Abram may have just watched Lot choose the land that looked best, but God was reminding him that the promise was still greater than that moment.

Sometimes we can be so focused on what seems lost or limited that we forget to lift our eyes.

The promise may already be before us…
we just have to recognize it.

Joshua 1:3 says…
“Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you.”

God said this to Joshua as he prepared to lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. God was assuring him that the land was already theirs.

I’m reminded that in our lives too, God has already given us places, opportunities, and spaces to thrive.

We don’t walk in feeling small or overlooked.
What God has assigned us is ours to step into and own.
