Still on Exodus 14:11 - 14

One thing I notice in Exodus 14:11–14 is that when the Israelites faced trouble, they immediately wanted to go back to Egypt. They were so familiar with slavery that freedom felt uncomfortable.

And sometimes we're the same way. When God calls us forward and things get difficult, we're tempted to go back to old patterns, old habits, and places that feel familiar.

But Moses said, "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord."

Sometimes, when it feels like there's no way forward, that's exactly where God shows up. The struggles pursuing you today may seem overwhelming, but God is able to bring you through them.

If He brought you out, He can lead you through.

Psalms 42:1 says📖

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.”

This scripture is a reminder that nothing truly satisfies the soul like God does. Achievements, distractions (binge watching our favourite shows, hanging out with friends or people) cannot fill the deeper hunger within us.

This verse reminds me that the soul was never meant to survive disconnected from God.

Sometimes what we really need is not more noise, more activity, or more answers… but more of Gods presence. So Stay

What has my soul been longing for lately? And am I truly satisfied? Am I staying in God's presence even in the business of the day?

2Corinthians 5:15(KJV) says,

“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

This scripture is a reminder that life is no longer just about us.

Jesus didn’t only die to save us,
He died so we could live differently.

To live with purpose.

To live for Him.

Sometimes we can get caught up in our own plans, desires, and pursuits… but this verse calls us back to the reason we were given life in the first place.

Apologies for not posting on monday. Here's the reflection for the week🙏.

Matthew 18:21-22 says📖, Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how often should I forgive someone who sins against me? Seven times?”
Jesus replied, “No, not seven times, but seventy times seven.”

This scripture is a reminder that we forgive because God has forgiven us so much. Peter was asking for a limit.Jesus was showing that mercy is not meant to be counted.We have all received grace, patience, and forgiveness from God more times than we know.So when we forgive others, we reflect the mercy that has been shown to us.Forgiveness is not always easy,but it keeps bitterness from settling in the heart.As we ask God to forgive us,He also teaches us to forgive those who wrong us.

In Matthew 25: 1-13, Jesus told the parable of the ten virgins—ten people waiting, ten lamps, but only five carried extra oil.

They all looked ready at first.
But when the wait became longer than expected, what was hidden was revealed.

Some had enough oil to keep burning.
Some did not.

This scripture is a wake-up call.

It’s possible to appear ready outwardly, yet be empty inwardly.
It’s possible to have yesterday’s fire but no oil for today.

Lord, give me oil in my lamp.
May my light never be dim. 🪔

If the Bridegroom came today, would your lamp still be burning?

Matthew 25:14–30 📖

A master gave talents to his servants before he left—five to one, two to another, and one to another, each according to their ability.

The ones who used what they were given multiplied it.
The one who was afraid hid his.

When the master returned, the difference was clear.

It wasn’t about who had more.
It was about what they did with what they had.

This parable reminds me that we’ve all been given something
