I was supposed to share this video weeks ago, but I stalled. 🫣 But then, while listening to Pastor Paul Daugherty's sermon this Sunday, I found myself returning to Psalm 23 with fresh eyes.

We spend so much of our lives looking for the right "map", the perfect plan, the next step, the way to make it all make sense. But Psalm 23 reminds me that I don't actually need the whole map when I have a Shepherd.
He isn't just giving me directions; He’s offering me Himself.
When the path feels a bit blurry or I’m tired of guessing what’s around the next corner, I’m learning to stop searching for the way forward and just look for Him instead.
I don’t have to see the whole journey to keep walking. I just need to stay close to the One who is leading me.
Whatever you’re carrying today, you aren't doing it by yourself. Even when things feel heavy or uncertain, His presence changes everything.
It’s this sweet, quiet confidence that we’re safe—not because we know the path, but because we know the Shepherd. 🤍

Am I more focused on having all the answers, or am I learning to trust the Shepherd who leads me?

Still on Exodus 14:11 - 14

One thing I notice in Exodus 14:11–14 is that when the Israelites faced trouble, they immediately wanted to go back to Egypt. They were so familiar with slavery that freedom felt uncomfortable.

And sometimes we're the same way. When God calls us forward and things get difficult, we're tempted to go back to old patterns, old habits, and places that feel familiar.

But Moses said, "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord."

Sometimes, when it feels like there's no way forward, that's exactly where God shows up. The struggles pursuing you today may seem overwhelming, but God is able to bring you through them.

If He brought you out, He can lead you through.

Psalms 42:1 says📖

“As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God.”

This scripture is a reminder that nothing truly satisfies the soul like God does. Achievements, distractions (binge watching our favourite shows, hanging out with friends or people) cannot fill the deeper hunger within us.

This verse reminds me that the soul was never meant to survive disconnected from God.

Sometimes what we really need is not more noise, more activity, or more answers… but more of Gods presence. So Stay

What has my soul been longing for lately? And am I truly satisfied? Am I staying in God's presence even in the business of the day?

2Corinthians 5:15(KJV) says,

“And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.”

This scripture is a reminder that life is no longer just about us.

Jesus didn’t only die to save us,
He died so we could live differently.

To live with purpose.

To live for Him.

Sometimes we can get caught up in our own plans, desires, and pursuits… but this verse calls us back to the reason we were given life in the first place.
