IS GRACE AND TRUTH ACTUALLY DIFFERENT?

LET'S FIND OUT👇

What's GRACE And TRUTH!?

Note: grace and truth doesn't mean grace plus truth!, We don't have truth that is different from Grace.

Hence trying to differentiate grace and truth to make your teaching longer and deeper is actually the beginning of error!!

Let's stay with the simplicity of the gospel!

Grace and Truth 👇.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Remember: the word is a person,not just ink and paper or book!

Vs 17👇
John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

Above is the place most of us have always used to teach the difference between grace and truth,

A brother said to me,

"This is the time we need to stop preaching grace and start preaching the truth for that is what that will make people grow stronger"

I was like wow! Really?
My reply to him though. 👇

Grace and truth is the same.

Grace is a person, He is Jesus.
Truth is a person. He is Jesus.
So,

What you need for growth is exactly the same thing that got you born again.

Truth is consistent, doesn't come in different shapes, except such is a lie.
And grace didn't start in the new testament part of the bible, grace is as old as God,and that is the consistent character of God!

Sincere milk is what that builds to perfection.

Sincere milk is the message of grace,
Strong meat (truth)is also the message of grace.

You don't use the law to equip men of the spirit.

Grace got us saved,Grace keep equipping us!.

The gospel is different from advice and moral lessons.

God uses his engrafted word in equipping the saints in christ and not the other way round!.

Further more! When you see or read grace AND truth, normally due to our knowledge of English one will conclude that the "AND" there is actually conjunction , making grace and truth two different concept. But remember the bible was not originally written in English, hence it's safer to stay with the original manuscript or lexicon which is either Hebrew, Latin or Greek.

"AND" most atimes in the new testament means "WHICH IS" or "EVEN"
for instance 👇
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

Without careful contextual studies, one might assume that Jesus was talking about water baptism above but that is not the case!

Let's see how it is actually 👇
John 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That is to say, water is not the spirit but a typology of the spirit, because in a Jewish culture, water signifies NEWNESS.

So when you hear or read Grace and truth, it actually means Grace which is the truth, and of course truth is a person Jesus.
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, THE TRUTH, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

So in conclusion, Jesus is the grace of God, Jesus is the truth, Jesus is the message!

*TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER (TIN) & SCUML CERTIFICATE*

I hope we also know that the Federal Government of Nigeria requires that the church must get *Tax Identification Number* trying to get *SCUML CERTIFICATE* that must be attached to your church accounts.

The certificate is anti money laundering certificate. If you don't have it, you'll not be allowed to open a church account and also your existing accounts can be blocked anytime by EFCC.

When I made inquiry on how to get the TIN to reopen our church account that was blocked, they directed me to *FIRS*, when I got there and made inquiry, they simply gave me a form to fill out.

To my greatest surprise, the form was simply a business owners form. I told them to give me a non-profit organization form since church falls under that in the Federal Government Laws, they said that I cannot obtain TIN with non-profit organization form; That TIN can only be obtained with business owners form.

I collected all the forms and left and didn't fill them out.

The implications of this subtle move is to force churches to register as Business Centres with the *Federal Internal Revenue Services* in order to get *Tax Identification Number* so that in the future when they'll start forcing churches to pay taxes, they will have strong legal grounds to do so.

And when I asked them in *FIRS*, they told me that many churches have collected the form and filled and submitted and there's no big deal about it.

When I asked about Mosques, they told me that no Mosque has come to collect the form, not to talk of filling it.

I went back to the bank to talk with the manager who made it clear to me that most of our big churches have obtained their TIN and have their SCUML Certificates attached to their accounts.

And he asked me a question:
' *If the church doesn't intend to pay tax in the future, what are we doing with Tax Identification Number?*'

Many churches simply entrusted this Spiritual Assignment to Lawyers and these Lawyers are simply doing their jobs and getting paid without us asking about the implications of these things.

We might be mortgaging the future of the church and our children in Nigeria without even knowing it. I raised this alarm when it started happening 3years ago but not many ministers paid any attention but things are maturing and getting out of control and maybe we can do something now or keep watching while they rope in and hang the church.

*************************I never knew of any SCUML certificate until last month when I tired to open a welfare account on behalf of my church.

By the time the banker finished listing out all the criteria, I simply gave up.

This, and other moves going on right under our nose is stealth jihad, and the church doesn't yet seem to understand.

Who will deliver us? What do we do?

In a day indeed where tax evasion is slammed on churches, hmmm...

And as rightly observed, mosques are never required to do any of all of these registrations etc.

God warned us oh...Christians would not hear.

This people understand that the church in Africa, is really the church in Nigeria.

With these moves, when church accounts are frozen, Christian African missions would be dealt a hard (in their thinking, irrecoverable) blow.

It is still just one of the pegs in the grand, overarching plan of their religious agenda. Just like the hate speech bill.

If that bill is passed, preaching of the gospel will certainly come under that label.

This subtle way of caging the church to pay tax has been on but the church leadership seems not to understand the implications, now it's gotten to another level.... May God help His Church to wake up and understand the handwritings on the wall.
