80th Birthday Celebration

We celebrate God’s faithfulness in the life of our beloved Father, former Archbishop of the Province of Lagos and Pioneer Bishop of our great Diocese, His Grace, The Most Reverend Professor Adebayo Dada Akinde, as he marks his 80th Birthday Celebration today.

Papa, we give thanks to God for the gift of your life and for the blessing you have been to the Church, the Diocese, and generations of God’s people. We are grateful for your years of faithful service, godly leadership, wisdom, and fatherly love.

As you celebrate this remarkable milestone, we pray that the goodness and mercy of the Lord shall never depart from you. May the faithfulness of God continually sustain and uphold you through every storm and challenge of life.

May the Lord bless you with renewed strength, honour, abundant blessings, divine favour, peace of mind, sound health, and many more fruitful years in His service. May your latter years be even more glorious, fulfilling, and rewarding in the presence of God.

A proud display of discipline, unity, and patriotism as the Anglican Communion Brigade marched in their colours during the Closing Service of the 2nd Session of the 7th Synod of the Diocese of Lagos Mainland.

With the National Anthem playing, the Brigade marched in and out of the colours with precision and honour, reflecting the values of service, discipline, loyalty, and commitment.
