The Month od September is our Month of Divine Separation
THE SEPARATION OF JOSEPH
When a man is separated, such a man is set aside for an assignment. Anyone whom God wants to use will be set apart.
Separation is a process of setting someone aside for an assignment. It is not a one-time event.
1. Separation by Revelation
Genesis 37:4–5; Genesis 49:26
Jacob had twelve sons, but Joseph was the only one who was dreaming.
Whatever God wants to do in your life will not be truncated, in the name of Jesus.
It was the dreams that separated Joseph from his brothers.
The revelation Joseph received distinguished him from his brothers and became a sign of what God had prepared for his future.
The revelation that will separate you from others, receive it now, in the name of Jesus!
2. Separation by the Presence of God
When Potiphar understood that he was prospering because of Joseph in his house, he recognised the impact of God's presence upon Joseph.
It is not about your current location.
The covenant of His presence will begin to speak for you, in the name of Jesus.
When the destinies of glory carriers are speaking, your own destiny will not be silent.
God's presence separated Joseph.
3. Moral Separation
Moral separation involves self-control and the fear of God.
This was what took Joseph to the next phase of his life. Joseph refused to stoop so low as to have an affair with his master's wife.
Every journey of destiny in life has its dos and don'ts.
Because Joseph refused his master's wife, he was sent to prison. Yet, even in prison, he became the head of the prisoners.
He was separated for interpretation while in prison.
It was God's presence with Joseph that manifested the gift of interpretation in his life, even while he was in prison.
4. Separation for Interpretation and Solution
Joseph interpreted Pharaoh's dream and, beyond interpretation, provided a solution.
God did not separate Joseph merely to interpret dreams. He separated him to provide solutions.
There is a level where God takes you beyond identifying problems to becoming part of the solution.
5. Separation to Take Over
Joseph's journey of separation eventually brought him to the place of authority.
The same Joseph who was separated from his brothers became the one who would preserve their lives.
God's process of separation was taking Joseph from the pit to the palace, from rejection to recognition, and from being a dreamer to becoming a solution provider.
May God separate you for His purpose, preserve you through the process, and bring you into the place He has prepared for you, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
