*If These Things Be in You*
Paul reminds us in Philippians 2:12–13 Work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.
Notice the balance: we don’t *work for* salvation, it is God’s gift. But as *new creatures*, we are called to *work out* what God has already worked in. That means letting the inner transformation show outwardly in our character, choices, and relationships.
Peter echoes this in *2 Peter 1:5–8*, listing virtues like faith, knowledge, patience, and love. He says: “If these things be in you and abound, they make you fruitful in the knowledge of Christ.”
Salvation is God’s work in us, and Our responsibility is to live it out daily.
So, if these things be in you faith, virtue, love, then your life becomes a living testimony of the new creature.
