THOUGH ON TODAYS VERSE
Jesus didn't die for us because he had high hopes for who we are or what we will become. No, he died for us because he knew exactly who we were and what we would become without him. God be praised! Because Jesus took our sin upon himself and gave us God's grace and righteousness in its place, we are now God's righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

PRAYER
Holy God, thank you for saving me through Jesus. No words can express how much I love and care about you for giving me such a wonderful gift. Through him, I say and show you my thanks. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

THOUGH ON TODAYS VERSE
Before the world was made! How do you know when that happened. God first thought of us at a time we can't even begin to understand. He thought of us to show how kind he was and to get other people to join him. God's plan has always been Jesus, and his goal has always been us. Let's show him we care by living holy lives.
PRAYER.
Father, thank you so much for knowing me and thinking about what I needed even before the world was made. I want to honor you today and in the days to come by trying to live in a way that shows your goodness and grace. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

THOUGHT ON TODAY'S VERSE
Worship that is true is a gift. Since God is spirit and holy, we can't fully get close to him without the help of his Holy Spirit. As Christians who were baptized into Christ and born of God, we now have his Spirit and can talk to him and worship him Spirit to Spirit.

PRAYER
Abba Father, I am your child because you gave me your Spirit. Thank you so much for giving me your Spirit so I can come to you with confidence and know you hear what's on my heart. Please worship what's in my heart, what I say, and what I do. May what I do today bring glory to you. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

THOUGHT ON TODAY'S VERSE.
Love! It can mean almost anything. Many Christians have tried to look it up in a dictionary or lexicon, but they don't realize that the most important word for love, agape, is defined by what it does. Before Christians got their hands on the word, agape meant the same thing as it does now: anything. But if you read 1 John, what God does shows what love is. God shows how much he cares. He tells us to do the same thing for our siblings. Love must be more than just words; it must be shown through actions.

PRAYER
Dear Father, you have been so kind to show me your love. I have to admit that in my heart, I want to love people the way you do, but my good intentions are often washed away by "busyness" or fear. Father, tell me through your Spirit to do more than just think and talk about how much I love other people. Through Jesus, you can show your love in the best way. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

THOUGH ON TODAYS VERSE
Isn't it crazy that we're called God's children? But that's exactly what we are! (See 1 John 3:3-10) We are children of God. Our Father made the billions and billions of planets in the universe. Every day, our Father paints a new sunset and every morning, he drives away the night. Not only does our Father love us, but he also claims us as his own and will bring us to his home for all time. Why? Because his message came to us through Jesus. Because we got his grace in the form of his Son. Incredible! Glorious! Grace!

THOUGH ON TODAYS VERSE.
God gave us Jesus as a gift, and the only right thing to do is to praise and worship him. The amazing gift of Jesus brings us God's love, grace, favor, blessing, forgiveness, mercy, and salvation. Why wouldn't we praise him? How can our hearts be still and our voices be quiet in front of a God so great? They either can't or won't do it right now. Let's take their refusal as a reminder that we need to reach as many people as possible before every knee bows and every tongue says that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father.

PRAYER
Father, you're wonderful. Your kindness is wonderful. Your present of Jesus is wonderful. All praise to you for sending Jesus, who showed us your glory and grace. In his name, I praise you. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.

I love that every day I do what everyone will do one day: I bow before the majesty and declare that Jesus Christ is Lord to honor the glory of the Father. How wonderful it is to be able to say that because of God's grace instead of out of fear at the end of a life spent in sin, denial, and waste.
PRAYER
Father, I do praise you for the truth about Jesus, which everyone who has ever lived will one day fully understand. May the way I treat people today show that this is true. May my mouth say this truth in the right way so that others can know Jesus as Lord right now. In Jesus' precious name I pray. Amen.
