Selling birthrights
Hebrews 12:14-17, Gen 25:30-34.

All children in a family are given physical
inheritances by their parents. All believers
that follow the bible in truth and in spirit are
given spiritual inheritance too (Eph 1:3).
Jesus Christ has shared inheritance for all
believers (John 1:10-12). These
inheritances are called birthright . Jesus
has given us spiritual birthrights, but we are
ignorant of our birthrights. And we sell
them out. Christians as children of God are
given birthrights when they become born
again. These birthrights are:

*Abraham’s blessing (Gen 22:17-18)
*God’s promises all over the scriptures (Deu
28:1-13)
*Grace
*Gifts of God (Joel 2:28, 1 Cor 12:1-11)
*God’s power (Mark 16:17-18, Psalm 82:6,
John 14:12-14, Act 1:8)
*Anointing

As we have physical inheritance, so we
have spiritual inheritance. It is our duty to
find out the inheritances given to us by
God. But there is battle to fight (2 Tim 4:7).
As people dispute over physical
inheritances, so we wrestle over spiritual
birthrights ( Eph 6:12). It is a believer’s
birthright to succeed and be the head, to
have sound health and a long life, to
perform signs and wonders, to win souls, to
bear children; but you must fight to get
these birthrights (Eph 6:12).

What makes people lost their birthrights?
Sin, disobedience and carelessness (Isaiah
59:1-3, Jeremiah 5:25, Isaiah 1:18-20). As
long as you are committing sin you are
selling your birthrights, because virtues are
leaving you. No man fulfills his life divine
destiny when he is in sin. God gave His
children birthrights but they are ignorant
and careless. It is very hard now to find a
virgin in the church because of worldliness
and love of the world. Lot of the sisters in
the church have sold their birthright in the
name of dating. The youths are committing
fornication and all sorts of immoralities. It
is very hard to see a true righteous and born
again youth in the church. Our young men
are into 419 (internet fraud) and
fornication. Reuben lost his birthright
because of this same sin of fornication
(Gen 49:3-4). Fraudsters will surely pay for
their evil deeds (Psalm 55:23, Jeremiah
17:11), and they are trading their birthrights
for money that cannot last long. That is the
reason the glory has left the church. The
church is full of evil. Even anointed men of
God are into iniquity also. Know this,
without holiness; no one can see the Lord.
Former things must go and the former
characters; the dating and worldly
friendship that leads to immorality must all
go. When one is in Christ, he is a new
creature, old things must go (2 Cor 5:17).

Believers today have sold their birthrights
and nothing remains ; that is the reason
they have no link, no connection with God.
You must be righteous. It is not going to
church that matters. Preach born again in
the church, repentance and talk about sin
of fornication and yahoo (internet fraud);
the church will be empty . All we want to
hear is prosperity and success. Christians
dupe people even with their level of prayer
and spirituality. The church is full of evil;
the society is full of evil; there is no
integrity. Call a sister today and say you
will marry her, that is all then fornication
begins. They will continue defiling
themselves. We condemn politicians but we
live same life as them. Politicians are after
worldliness, we also are after worldliness.
The bible says seek first the kingdom of
God and his righteousness and every other
thing shall be added unto you (Matt 6:33).
Today church seeks first money and
material things forsaking God’s kingdom;
all we preach is how to possess the world.
Today’s church love the world (1 John
2:15-17).

We must not lose our birthrights like Adam
and Eve. Esau lost his birthright by
carelessness (Gen 25:30-34). Reuben lost
his birthright by fornication (Gen 49:3-4).
Many Christians are blind like Esau; they
don’t know the value of their birthrights.
Esau sought for it with tears years later
after he knew the value of his birthright, but
it never came (Heb 12:17); same happen to
many Christians . Lots of anointed men of
God and believers sold their birthrights
because of pottage; careless people sell
their birthrights . Young girls sell their
birthrights associated with their virginity.
Young men do same as they go into yahoo
(internet fraud), sleeping with prostitutes,
drinking and smoking.

There are people that paid the price,
struggled and never sold their birthright.
Jesus struggled in prayer in Gethsemane
when he said the will of God be done (Matt
26:38-39). He never sold his birthright to the
devil. Joseph struggled day by day with
Portiphar’s wife and he never sold his
birthright at the altar of fornication like
Reuben (Gen 39:10). The three Hebrew men
also refused to give out their birthright by
serving the idol of Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel
3:16-18). Esther fasted three days to get her
own birthright (Esther 4:15-16). Sisters
should not sell their birthright because of
poverty or money. A believer who sells his
birthright like Esau will surely regret it .

BENEFITS OF FASTING AND PRAYER
MARK 9:14-29, JONAH 3:1-10

Fasting and prayer is a spiritual thing and
is meant for all believers; no one is
exempted from it. The powers of darkness
possess diverse spiritual weapons and
arrows used for evil and destruction. God
has also given the church diverse weapons
of warfare to overcome the powers of
darkness (2 Cor 10:4-5); and fasting and
prayer is one of the greatest weapon He
has given to believers. With fasting and
prayer, you can solve every hard case.
Christ said this spirit cannot go except
through fasting and prayer; it means some
attacks and arrows cannot go but by
fasting and prayer (Matt 17:21). It is
unwise to refuse to fast or wait for
someone to fast for you because nothing is
impossible for a man or woman that can
go fasting and pray with the word of God.

There are numerous benefits and
importance of fasting and prayer. These
benefits are:

*A lot of powers can only be defeated
through fasting and prayer (Mark 9:14-29):
There are marine powers, strong witchcraft
powers, occultic powers, powerful idols,
satanic sacrifices, strong satanic bo***ge
and captivity, forest demons, strong curses
and covenants, evil inherited foundational
powers and satanic reinforcement (massive
attacks from witches and occultic powers)
troubling one’s life that cannot leave unless
serious fasting is done. All this powers will
be melted, destroyed and scattered by good
fasting and prayer. Lots of people are
troubled by spirit of infirmity (constant
sickness and affliction); this case is always
beyond medical treatment and diagnosis.
Sometimes some will go for lab test and
nothing will be seen nor detected; injections
and drugs will have no effect too. What the
person needs to do is to go on serious
fasting and prayer; Paul did 3 days and
received his healing (Act 9:9-19). Any time
you are treating an ailment and it persists;
go spiritual. Many have died because they
are ignorant; they thought every case can
be treated in the hospital. Spiritual arrows
can never be seen nor identified in the lab
or X-rays. Medical doctors can never cast
out demons; they cannot heal spiritual
sickness caused be demons and arrows.
When you spiritual problem, go spiritual;
meet a real man of God who can solve the
case. Spiritual cases must be treated
spiritually. Power is in the spirit and fasting
and prayer is a spiritual exercise; it pulls all
satanic powers down.

*With fasting and prayer, you can reverse
every satanic judgment passed against
you: You don’t need to keep on looking for
people to pray for you or running from
church to church, you can do it yourself. An
unchangeable degree was passed to
destroy Mordecai and the whole Jews. A
date had been picked for them all to be
executed, but Esther and all the Jews they
went on three days fasting and prayer
seeking the face of God; and the degree
was reversed. Instead of them dying, their
enemies died in their place (Esther 4:1-17,
7:10). Fasting and prayer stops all works,
manipulations and attacks of witches,
occultic men, native doctors and strong
marine powers with all their activities.
Fasting and prayer melts all powers, arrows
and every evil degree. When you are being
troubled by evil foundation, good fasting
and prayer melt those powers. No case is
too hard when the right fasting and prayer
is been done. Daniel melted the strong
power of the prince of Persia by fasting 21
days (Daniel 10).

*A righteous man can stand in the gap for
his country, church or family in prayer and
fasting (Ezekiel 22:30, Jeremiah 5:1-2):
Many go to church, fast and pray but they
continue in sin; they keep on living a life of
sin. When death, calamity, infirmity, attack,
judgment, poverty and pain is coming to
one’s family, people, nation, a righteous
man can stand in the gap through fasting
and prayer. Fasting done in righteousness
works like a dynamite. When God passed
judgment to destroy the people of Israel,
Moses stood in the gap and turned away
the wroth and saved his people from
destruction (Deu 9:18-19).

*You can change your ugly situations
though fasting and prayer: Ahab one of the
worst kings in Israel humbled himself and
fasted before God when God’s wrath and
judgment was upon him and his family;
because of this, the punishment for his
wickedness was postponed (1 King
21:16-29). David lay on the ground and
fasted for seven days; though the child
died, after that God gave him Solomon, a
destiny child who ruled after him (1 Sam
12:16-25) .

*Fasting and prayer is a great weapon used
to turn difficult situations around for good:
Ezra and the people of Israel fasted before
they travelled from Babylon to Jerusalem
which took them four months (Ezra
8:21-23,31). God answered and delivered
them from their enemies and those lying in
wait to rob them of their gold and silver
(Ezra 8:31). Their fasting brought forth
God’s protection upon them.

*Fasting brings good health, long life and
joy: Moses was 120 years, yet his eyes were
not dim, nor his natural face abated (Deu
34:7). Anna was a prophetess who served
God in the temple continuously with fasting
and prayer, yet at 84 years she was sound
(Luke 2:36-38).

Other benefits of fasting are:

*Fasting brings great power and fresh fire:
Jesus Christ fasted 40 days and 40 nights
and after that, he received great power and
might for His ministry (Luke 4:1-13).

*Fasting makes the spirit man grow and it
kills the flesh.

*Fasting brings deep visions and
revelations.

*Fasting brings revival, promotion and
spiritual upliftment (Acts 13:1-2, 1 Kings
19:8). It quenches fire of attack.

*Fasting and prayer makes your gifts and
virtues to begin to manifest.

The reason many fasting and prayers bear
no result is because of sin and wrong
motive. Prophesy came that the people of
Nineveh would be destroyed in three days.
Then they repented and turned away from
their wickedness; they went on fasting and
God saw their hearts and works and he
forgave them (Jonah 3:1-10). Fasting
cannot be done to bribe God; you must go
out of sin (2 Chron 7:14). Many call for
family deliverance and yet continue in sin
so the problem persists. When death and
suffering, hardship, disappointment is
troubling a family; fasting and prayer can
solve them all, but sin must go first. When
iniquity is still present, calling pastors for
family deliverance is a total waste of time.
No matter how hard a case maybe; once
you flee sin, fast and pray with the word of
God, it will surely be settled.

PRAYERS:

*Spiritual laziness operating in my life, die
in the name of Jesus.

*Power of sin and rebellion in my life, die in
the name of Jesus.

*I receive the grace to fast and pray in the
name of Jesus.

*Excessive love for food, die in the name of
Jesus.

*I break the yoke of sin operating in my life
in the name of Jesus.

CONSEQUENCES OF SIN
Deuteronomy 28:1-68, Isaiah 1:10-20,
59:1-2

Know this, every promise of God goes with
condition. Deuteronomy chapter 28 from
verse 1 to 13 contains promises of
blessings, prosperity, victories, long life,
sound health and other things meant for
those who are fully obedient to God’s laws
and instructions; but verse 15 to 68
consists of curses, calamities, plagues,
destructions and sorrow for sinners and for
people who turn deaf ears to God’s word
and instructions. Sinners and disobedient
children can never inherit God’s promises.
Remember the prayer of a sinner is
abomination before God (Proverb 28:9,
15:8). God blessed Abraham all-round
because he hearkened to God’s voice, kept
His charges, commandments and His law
(Gen 26:1-5). Do not be deceived, whatever
a man sows that he will reap (Gal 6:7).

Many nations are in serious sufferings and
reproach today because of iniquity (Pro
14:34). There was no rain in Israel for three
and a half years because of sins; they
broke the commandments of God and
followed baal (1 Kings 18:18). The people
of Israel committed numerous fornication
and witchcraft which Jezebel established
(2 King 9:22). The iniquities of the people
of Israel were many because of Jezebel;
God’s altar was broke and it resulted to no
rain, famine and death all over the nation.
Before rain came back upon the land, Elijah
rebuilded the broken altar, killed the
prophets of baal; then the people turned
back unto God before the rain came (1
Kings 18:30-40). Flee sin, there is no gain in
it.

Sin brings diverse infirmity. The lame man
by the pool of Bethesda who suffered for
38 years suffered because of sin (John
5:1-14). Sin kept him in one spot for 38
years. Jesus healed him and told him to go
and sin no more less a worse thing will
come upon him (John 5:14). The man
whose friends brought unto Jesus from the
roof was paralysed because of sin; before
he could get his healing, his sins had to be
forgiven (Luke 5:17-25). Jesus punished
the prophetess Jezebel and her followers
with serious infirmity because of their
fornication in the church and eating food
offered to idols (Rev 2:18-22). The church
today is full of evil and atrocities. There is
idolatry, occultism, witchcraft, fornication
and adultery in the church. Evil is practiced
continuously in the church and we keep on
shouting grace. Going to church is not what
matters but keeping God’s law; many go to
church but they are far from God.

Sin destroys destiny. Reuben was destined
to be greatest above his brothers; he had all
he needed to be great but never prospered
because of adultery (Gen 35:22, 49:3-4).
Many have talents, virtues and great gifts
but they end up in failure and disgrace
because of sin: just like Reuben they have
crippled their destiny with iniquity. Balaam,
a great prophet of God destroyed his
destiny because of lust for money. He
disobeyed God’s instructions and warnings
and went astray seeking to curse the
children of Israel so as to get the material
rewards from king Balak (1 Peter 2:15-16,
Jude 11). Gehazi and Judas followed the
same path as prophet Balaam, and they
ended their destinies because of love of
money and material things. They turned
deaf ears to God's warnings and
instructions so they never fulfilled their
heavenly assignment on earth. Many
pastors, preachers, prophets and believers
are following the same path. Know this, no
sinner fulfill divine destiny.

Many have been deceived. The bible says
in the last days false christs, prophets and
teachers will arise and will deceive many
(Matt 24:5,11,24); the people will not hear
sound teachings again (1 Tim 4:1-2).
Nowadays, in churches hardly do they
preach against sin. They preach grace,
mercies of God, love of God, thanksgiving,
giving, wealth and tithes; but never do they
teach God’s judgment on sinners. The
bible says no sinner will inherit the kingdom
of God (1 Cor 6:9-10, Rev 21:8, 22:15,
Romans 1:26-32). Don’t be deceived, the
bible says no fornicator, adulterer, liar,
witch, occult, marine, 419 (fraudster), gay/
le***an, rebellious or disobedient person
will inherit the kingdom of God (Gal
5:19-21). They will all perish in hell; there is
nothing like grace there.

God always give people time to repent of
their sins (Rev 2:21). He warns sinners to
repent before He comes with His wrath; but
many take His warnings for granted. Many
don’t know that God is a consuming fire; He
is a God of justice and judgment visiting
the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation (Exo
20:5). He pays everyone according to His
work (Ecc 12:13-14). A person can live his
life anyway he desires. He can keep on
pretending, fornicating, committing fraud,
adultery; but one thing is sure, God shall
bring everyone’s work into judgment
whether it be good or evil (Ecc 11:9,
12:13-14). No sinner will go unpunished
(Pro 11:21). Going to church, fasting and
praying, and other sacrifices are all waste
of time if you persist in sin (Isaiah 1:10-15).
Stop attending church where sin is
encouraged. Leave that friend leading you
to sin. Don’t let your wife/husband lead you
into sin; you will pay for it.

Genuine repentance is not by words but by
action. The people of Nineveh repented
totally from their wicked ways when they
heard about God’s judgment; they stopped
their wickedness (Jonah 3:1-10). The
people of Nineveh believed God, they
proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth
from the greatest of them to the least; they
and their king put on sackcloth, sat on
ashes and went on fasting seeking for
God’s mercy and forgiveness. They cried
mightily unto God after they turned from
their evil ways. God saw their works that
they have turned from their evil way, and He
repented of the evil He planned against
them and forgave them (Jonah 3:10).

Once you decide to go out of sin then you
go on fasting and prayer. Repentance is not
by words alone there must be action.
Fasting breaks the yoke of iniquity because
it is a spirit. You cannot come out of
witchcraft, marine or occult without fasting.
Deliverance from lust, fornication and
adultery goes with fasting; a lot of things
cannot go unless fasting is involved (matt
17:21, Mark 9:29). Fasting destroys the
works of the flesh. Fasting destroys the
power drawing you to sin; to overcome the
power of sin, go on serious fasting and
prayer.

PRAYERS:

*Lord take away the stony heart and give
me a heart of flesh in the name of Jesus.

*I break to pieces every yoke of iniquity in
my life in the name of Jesus.

*Spirit of disobedience in my life, die in the
name of Jesus.

*Every power of lust operating in me, die in
the name of Jesus.

*I must fulfill my divine destiny in the name
of Jesus.

*Spiritual arrow of sickness and death fired
at me, backfire in the name of Jesus.

*Arrow of shame and reproach prepared for
me this year, die in the name of Jesus.

Prophets and prophetesses
Matthew 7:15-20, 1 Kings 22:1-40,
Jeremiah 23:9-32

Almost every streets and corners in Nigeria
has prophets and prophetesses; it is a
growing business. Are all these prophets
and prophetesses called by God? No, many
called themselves. Many housewives are
now prophetesses and many unemployed
men looking for money are going into
ministry and are fast becoming prophets.
Men facing challenges and difficulties in
life are being deceived into believing they
have the call of God. About four hundred
prophets prophesied in the king's palace
before Ahab and Jehoshaphat and all they
prophesied were lies and deceptions
because they were possessed with lying
spirit and their prophesies led to the death
of King Ahab; only one prophet, Micaiah
was sent by God, he alone prophesied
correctly with the spirit of God in him (1
Kings 22:1-40); same thing is happening
today, countless prophets and
prophetesses are everywhere deceiving
many but true prophets of God are scarce.

These prophets and prophetesses can call
a person’s name, tell one everything about
his/her family and village, call one’s
contact number, home address, tribe,
account number and amount one has in
his/her account. They will tell you things
only you know; being carried away, people
will say God is here. These prophets and
prophetesses telling you hidden things
doesn’t mean that God’s spirit is in them;
marine (python) spirit does this a lot. A
servant girl possessed with the spirit of
divination did the same thing in the bible;
she gave accurate prophesies about Paul
and Silas, but Paul knowing the spirit is not
of God cast out the spirit (Acts 16:16-18).
These prophets and prophetesses do
likewise, they operate with marine spirit,
witchcraft spirit, ancestral powers and
occultic powers which reveals secrets but
no solution (Jeremiah 23:13).

Satan can reveal secrets to you but will
never offer solution for devil can’t cast out
devil (Luke 11:18). King Saul after God
refused to answer his prayers because of
his sins went to see a witch who revealed to
him calamities that would befall him, but
she gave him no solution (1 Sam 28:6-25).
King Ahaziah did the same thing in the
days of Elijah, he sent servants to enquire
of Baalzebub the god of Ekron to know if
he will recover of his sickness, but he ended
in tragedy (2 King 1:2-4). These prophets
and prophetesses demand that people pay
consultation fee before they can see them
and they charge people to carry out
spiritual work for them. Their main purpose
is to make money which is contrary to
God’s word (Matt 10:8). They make
merchandize of people and have scattered
and destroyed many destinies*. Believers
should stop patronizing this agents of
darkness, but rather they should seek the
Holy spirit who reveals deep and secret
things from God and *offers solution to
every problem whether spiritual or physical
(1 Cor 2:9-10, Luke 8:17, Daniel 2:22).

These prophets and prophetesses have
caused lots of havoc in the society and by
their evil deeds you shall know them (Matt
7:20). They join many together in marriage
against the will of God. They find marriage
partners for members who have done them
good. The bible says what God has joined
together let no man put asunder (Matt 19:6)
; but today prophets, prophetesses and
pastors are joining people together in
marriage, this has resulted to lots divorce
cases in the society because it is a union
joined by satan not God. They are full of
lies and deceptions (Jeremiah 23:26, 1
Kings 22:22); many who travel abroad were
deceived by these prophets and
prophetesses who tell them that their
destiny is abroad not Nigeria; these people
sell all they have to travel out, only to have
their destinies shattered. These prophets
and prophetesses do spiritual work for
419s (fraudsters) thereby encouraging evil
and wickedness in the society; their
activities have destroyed homes, churches
and lots of lives.

Know this, going to false altars and
churches for spiritual assistance and
enquiry attracts God’s wrath (1 Chron
10:13-14, 2 Kings 1:2-4); visiting these
prophets and prophetesses is a great sin
before God and anyone who goes to them
will not go unpunished. Many of these
prophets and prophetesses attend bible
schools and learn theology but they don’t
know God. As in the days of Jeremiah
these prophets and prophetesses visit
diverse altars, shrines and idols (Jeremiah
23:13); these they do so as to get diverse
demonic powers, gifts of vision, prophesy
and healing which they use to destroy
destinies because the devil has nothing
good to offer (John 10:10).

A true prophet of God must know the
scripture and live by it daily. All prophets
used by God in the bible were all filled by
God’s word and they lived by it. Jesus knew
the scripture from the age of 12 (Luke
2:42-47); King David a man after God’s
heart was filled with the scripture (Psalm
1:2, 119:11); Prophet Jeremiah and Ezekiel
both knew the scripture (Jeremiah 15:16,
Eze 3:3); Ezra, the priest of God was deeply
rooted in God’s word too (Ezra 7:10);
Timothy knew God’s word from childhood
(2 Tim 2:15). These prophets and
prophetesses are ignorant of God’s word;
they are void of God’s word neither can
they hear God. With their false visions,
prophesies and spiritual deeds, they misled
and destroy many.

These prophets and prophetesses
discourage fasting and prayer. They collect
money from people to pray for them and
make their members depend on them. Their
members would always say there is no
need for them to pray believing their
spiritual father/mother is praying and
handling their case for them. The highest
fasting they give their members is 6am to
12pm which is meant for children. They
discourage holy leaving too; these
prophetesses wear seductive clothes
seducing men who come to them for
spiritual assistance and most prophets
engage in adultery defiling women in their
churches (Rev 2:20).

To see deep and secret things from God:
read your bible, depart from sin, go on
midnight prayers and fast frequently; surely
your spiritual eyes shall be open. Fasting
and prayer solves lots of difficult spiritual
cases. Paul fasted 3 days and nights and
God sent prophet Ananias to heal his
blindness (acts 9:9-12); Esther, Mordecai
and the Israelites fasted 3 days and night
before God delivered them from Haman
their enemy (Esther 4:16, 7:10); Moses
fasted and prayed for 40 days and nights
to deliver the Israelites from the wrath of
God (Deu 9:25-26). Ezra and the Israelites
fasted and prayed for protection from their
enemies as they travelled back to Israel for
they were with gold, silver, little children,
livestock (Ezra 8:21-23). Even Jesus, the
son of God fasted for 40 days before
spiritual power was given to Him to start
His earthly ministry (Matt 4:2); to overcome
difficult or impossible situations, you must
do likewise.

Jesus made it clear that some cases
cannot be solved unless prayer and fasting
is involved (Mark 9:29). Believers should
fast and pray when problem arises. They
can engage on 6 to 6pm for seven days,
fourteen, or twenty-one days depending on
the case with midnight prayers. Daniel
fasted for 21 days until God granted his
request (Daniel 10:2-3); the people of Israel
and Jehoshaphat fasted the whole day
before God intervened in their difficult case
and their enemies destroyed one another (2
Chronicle 20:20-24). Christians should fast
and pray and their difficult cases would be
solved instead of going to prophets and
prophetesses who worsen their problems.

prophetesses.
