Father's Blessing by Pastor E. A. Adeboye

As I was seated, Daddy reminded me about something that happened in 1981 when I went to our church in Ilorin on a Tuesday. As I was about to leave on Wednesday morning, a midwife from our maternity centre came to me saying that a woman in labour said that she had made a covenant with the devil that she'd die on the day she gives birth. But she had changed her mind and no longer wanted to die.

I prayed for her then left for Lagos. When I heard this, my faith shook, but I put up a bold face and told the delegation from Ilorin to go back and that before they returned, the baby would have arrived. After they left, I ran to God in prayer.
He asked me if I didn't believe what I told them, I replied that I did.
He told me to break my fast if I did. I reluctantly did; I can't even remember how the food went down.

After they arrived in Ilorin, the delegation called me by landline. They said not only did one more baby come out before they arrived in Ilorin, but another baby as well. It was a set of triplets.

🗣 Daddy told me to tell those of you who are here;
You might be expecting one miracle from Him, but because you waited till the last day,
"I will give you 3 miracles."

Day 3;
Anointing Service
Special Holy Ghost Service 2026

Text: Psalm 23:5

▪︎ Anointing is a very powerful thing; it destroys yokes. Isaiah 10:27

▪︎ The most beautiful thing about anointing, however, is that it guarantees promotion.
It brings you out of obscurity into the limelight.

The anointing took David from shepherd boy to king. 1 Samuel 16:11-13

▪︎ The link between anointing and excellence is that anointing pushes you towards excellence. 1 Samuel 16:13
David got another anointing and became king of Judah. 2 Samuel 2:4
He got another anointing and became king of the whole of Israel. 2 Samuel 5
But God didn't stop there, He knew David would need more anointing to become father of the King of kings. Mark 10:46-52

The anointing took David from shepherd boy to being known, to being king of Judah, to being king of Israel, to being recognised as an ancestor of the King of kings.

Prayer Points
▪︎ Father, from this moment onward, on a daily basis, move me on to excellence.
▪︎ Father, any obstacle to excellence in my life, let Your anointing destroy right now.
▪︎ Father, accelerate my promotion.

Topic: Excellence
Text: 1 John 3:1-3

When you're comparing 3 things, you say:
Good, better, best
Great, greater, greatest
E.g. Abraham was great (Genesis 24:34-35), Isaac was very great (Genesis 26:12-16), and Jacob was exceedingly great (Genesis 30:40-43).

There is always something better than the best - excellent.
Daniel was the most excellent of all; he had an excellent spirit.
Daniel 6:1-3

▪︎ Physical excellence;
It is good to be healed. Acts 3:1-8, Mark 5:25-34
It is better to be healthy, not knowing illness. Exodus 15:26, Deuteronomy 34:7
There is something better than being healthy - you become a carrier of the healing virtue. Mark 16:15-17
There is something even better than carrying the healing virtue; pieces of clothing that touch your body can heal others.
Acts 19:11-12

▪︎ Material excellence;
It's a good thing to be debt-free. 2 Kings 4:1-7
Even better is to be rich. 2 Kings 4:8-17
It is even better to be wealthy. Genesis 26:8-16
There is something better than being wealthy - being prosperous. 2 Chronicles 1:6-15, 1 Kings 19:2
There is something better than being prosperous - flourishing.
Psalm 92: 12-13

▪︎ Spiritual excellence;
It is good to be delivered. Mark 5:2-20
But there's always the problem of the stigma of the past. It is better to have never had that problem. Luke 8:1-3
It is better to be untouchable. Job 1:8-10, Zechariah 2:5
It is even better to be a demon destroyer. Mark 16:17

▪︎ Excellence in terms of victory;
It is a very good thing for Jesus to be with you, because if He is with you, you will win any battle. 1 Samuel 17:34-51
There is something better than God with you - God for you. Romans 8: 31&37
It is even better for God to back you up. Genesis 17:1. When God backs you up, there is no possibility of you ever failing.
Even better is when God surrounds you.
When God surrounds you, anyone who tries to touch you will touch fire because God is the consuming Fire.
Hebrews 12:29, Judges 15:14-15
There is something better than God surrounding you - God within you.
If God is within you, your future is guaranteed.
Colossians 1:27, 1 John 4:4

Link between excellence (theme for the 40th anniversary) and a new beginning (theme for the year):
40 is the number of wisdom.

Wisdom is to teach you certain things:
▪︎ Our God is an excellent God. Psalm 8:1
▪︎ He does things excellently. Genesis 1:31
If you hand over your situation to God, you'll get excellent results.
Ecclesiastes 3:14
You can not improve on the work of God.
God's work is so perfect that David said he was fearfully and wonderfully made.
You're unique and there's no one like you.
▪︎ God pursues excellence. Genesis 1:31
Even though His creation of man was good, He decided that it wasn't good enough that man should be alone. Genesis 2:18

No matter how good you are now, it is time for a new beginning.
Better your best. Matthew 5:48
Don't settle. You have not yet arrived.

▪︎ God wants us to remember that when Jesus returns, He is coming for an excellent church. Ephesians 5:27

As you're thanking God for what He has done in the past, ask Him for more.
Keep moving towards excellence.
▪︎ Jesus is coming to take us to an excellent place. A place where there is no night. Revelation 22:5
You can not stop the pursuit of excellence until you finish the race. 1 John 3:2

Our God is excellent.
He does excellent things.
He demands excellence.
He will take you to an excellent place if you continue to pursue excellence.
Excellence is a journey.

Salvation Call
If you haven't given your life to Jesus, hurry to the Lord now. Let tonight mark a new beginning.

Ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, come into your life, and save your soul.

Excellence is the consistent pursuit of the highest quality of anything.
It not only meets expectations, but it surpasses them. Ephesians 3:20

Excellence is not only being the best, but being so good that it can not be improved.

Levels of excellence
▪︎ Relative excellence: excellent in one area and limited in another. Daniel 2

Excellence that is not upgraded becomes limited when the standard rises.
▪︎ Absolute excellence:
Absolute means complete, total, perfect
Matthew 5:48

Excellence as children of God is that we're complete and lack nothing. James 1:4

Example of Absolute Excellence:
Jesus Christ
Colossians 1:19, John 14:30
How do you attain absolute excellence?
1. Accepting Jesus into your life. Daniel 6:3
2. Desire the sincere milk of the word of God. As you grow, desire more and stay in the word.
Hebrews 5:13-14
3. The glory to glory level. 2 Corinthians 3:18

The only way to remain excellent is to have your foundation rooted deeply in God, so that when the storm comes, you're immovable.

Prayer Point:
▪︎ Father, help me by the Spirit of God not to be irrelevant in life but to be filled with Your excellence.

I came with some gifts for you in Jesus' name:
Gift 1: God will give you net-tearing miracles.
2. All your enemies will labour for you to enjoy.
3. All your enemies will see God's handwriting upon your life and bow.
4. All your enemies will make costly mistakes that will lead to their destruction.
5. Anyone that won't allow you rest shall be laid to rest.
6. All your pains will soon end in praise.
7. Your own will be possible.

Certain situations are considered impossible/hopeless/irredeemable.
But with God, all things are possible. Matthew 19:26
Is your own possible with God?
YES!
Luke 1:37
With God, it is possible.
Mark 10:27, Jeremiah 32:17

This ability of God to do the impossible is confirmed by more than 2 witnesses. Matthew 18:16b
God Himself asks if anything is too hard for Him. Jeremiah 32:27

There are questions begging for answer:
1. Is it possible for someone considered barren to be fruitful?
YES!
Sarah, Hannah, Rachael, Elizabeth

▪︎ If you're not reigning yet, remain in training.

2. Is it possible for God to create a way where there is no way?
YES!
If God did it in the past, He can do it now.
Exodus 14
🙏🏼 God will make a way for you and helpers of destiny will locate you this month in Jesus' name.

3. Is it possible for anything dead/dry to rise again?
YES!
Ezekiel 37
🙏🏼 Anything considered dead/inactive in your life will rise again in the name of Jesus.

4. Is it possible for your lost items, opportunities, and privileges to be recovered?
YES!
Job 42
🙏🏼 In the name of Jesus, you will bounce back. Everything you've lost shall be restored.

5. Is it possible for God to move someone from grass to grace?
YES!
🙏🏼 I don't know how God will do it but He will promote you this season. He will reposition/relocate you go a higher level.

6. Is it possible for your tomorrow to be better and not bitter?
YES!
Example: Peter, a former fisherman, became an intercontinental evangelist.
🙏🏼 In the name of Jesus, your tomorrow will be better and not be bitter.

7. Is it possible for the storms you're passing through to cease now?
YES!
Mark 4: 35-40
🙏🏼 God will speak to all storms in your life; they will hear the voice of the Lord and they will cease in the name of Jesus.

8. Is it possible for red lights to turn green for your sake?
YES!
For the cripple in John 5, woamn with the issue of blood in Mark 5
crippled beggar in Acts 4, their red lights turned green.
🙏🏼 This March, you will change position and the red light will turn green.

9. Is it possible for God to grant someone victory without a fight?
YES!
2 Chronicles 20:20-25
🙏🏼 God will give you victory over known and unknown battles that you're fighting.

10. Is it possible for God to do your own?
YES!
Is it possible for God to your own now?
YES!
If it was possible for Samson's hair to regrow, dry bones to resurrect, the red sea to part, Lazarus to come back to life, then your own is possible in the name of Jesus.

Declare with your mouth:
My own is possible with God!

Salvation Call
Jesus is inviting you to come unto Him.
If you haven't given your life to Jesus or would like to rededicate your life, ask the Lord to have mercy on you, forgive your sins, wash you clean with His blood, and save your soul.

Prayer Points
▪︎ Father, I thank You for everything You've done for me and through me.
▪︎ Father, please reverse the irreversible in my life. Whatever is considered hopeless in my life, please reverse it this morning.
▪︎ God of possibilities, please speak to my situation and let my bitter story change.
▪︎ Father, I desire landmark testimonies; therefore, please give me landmark miracles now.
▪︎ Father, I need a divine intervention. Please intervene in my life, family, business, career, and finances this month.
▪︎ Pray for our father-in-the-Lord.
▪︎ Father, I'm here today for my oversized miracles. I must not go back the same. It is my turn.

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

You are a living testament to the fact that greatness and humility can coexist beautifully.

You embody humility and holiness so beautifully, even amidst the immense blessings God has bestowed upon you. Your goals and visions, by human standards, seem impossible—but to your God, they are simply part of His divine workings.

Thank you for showing us this limitless dimension of God—teaching us that if we dare to dream bigger than you and trust in your God, we can achieve even greater things and surpass expectations!

May the Spirit of Excellence that distinguished Daniel rest even more heavily upon you. We pray that in this new year, your hands will continue to produce greater exploits that surpass human comprehension, and may your influence for the Kingdom continue to reach heights the world has never seen.
