Victor Alechenu Okopi first found expression as FAITH VICTORY MINISTRY, a multi-faceted, multi-racial ministry in Ejigbo Lagos. ting, started from a humble beginning with his wife and children in a rented apartment at 15, Disu Aina St, Ejigbo, Lagos. He worked assiduously under the rain and sun to actualize his God given vision. The hallmark of his leadership was raising the membership strength to Thirty, raising faithful men and women, and the purchase of a parcel of land in Oladuni Memorial Street, Ejigbo Lagos. In the year of our lord 2004, He perceived that the time was ripe and the season set to move the ministry to another level. Compelled by this divinely inspired conviction we relocated to our permanent site, 17 Oladuni Memorial street and started building our Church. It is worthy of note to mention that as the Church was just at its foundation stage, our Founder was called home by the Lord almighty on September 4th, 2006 leaving behind his wife, children and his faithful worshipers. The entire church was now in a crossroad. We were doing combination and permutation, calculating how to carry on with the enormous task left behind. The church at this time had no roof and was holding all its church services under the canopy. God in his infinite mercy heard our cry and raised a “JOSHUA” in the person of Pastor Frederick Chukwu to continue with this great vision .Pastor Chukwu has been a part of the current charismatic renaissance sweeping through the entire globe today. His faith based teaching together with his assistant pastors, and the entire church have helped to transform the church. Owing to registration requirement, we saw the need to have a change of name and re-brand. Hence, in Oct 2007,the ministry was christened “FAITH ABUNDANT MINISTRY INTERNATIONAL” and duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria (C.A.C ) Abuja. Onward we have marched on, growing in leaps and bounds from one realm of glory to another. We are soaring on the wings of grace, powered by God’s supernatural wisdom and a mandate irresistible. The church now is roofed, partially plastered and painted with modern day musical instrument and equipment. The membership strength has also been greatly increased to one hundred and twenty (120). Also many programmes have been integrated to impact our members spiritually and to liberate them from all oppression of the devil. Some of them are Abundant Touch and Divine Encounter which have blessed so many people as great testimonies always abound in these programmes. The Church is blessed with a wide spectrum of fellowships, department and units, which work together but distinctly for the common good of the ministry, and which also creates the enabling environment for members to network, interact, fulfill their call, and have a sense of belonging.Click here for more about Pastor Fredrick Chukwu
