What you have heard is what you must have been taught, you may have been taught under the conditions of malice and hatred in the heart.
"What you can't do teach". This is an expression and the means by which hardcore fanatics indoctrinate their staunch followers.
This tool is an effective way of weaponizing many dangerous men in the society. This infiltration has given birth to many dry hearts and falling away in faith of many susceptibly, because those who teach pose as pious liturgists.
But the best way to teach faith is love in heart, not pretending to have love or else it'll become a weaponized doctrine to destroy and damage the psychology of men. Ephesians 4:15
Matt 5:38-41.
38“You have heard that it was said, ‘Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.’ h 39But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. 40And if anyone wants to sue you and take your shirt, hand over your coat as well. 41If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. 42Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
Teaching in love we grow together in Faith.
It is not your Faith, it is the Foundational Faith in Jesus Christ (His suffering, death and resurrection - 1 Cor 15:1-3)that brought us to God.
Some teach Faith as if it originated with them and failed to apply the principles of love and humility but what they add is experience and old age.
Age does not make any difference in the sight of God - Isaiah 46:4.
Reverent men are submissive to God's authority and are never presumptuous but are guided by humility at whatever steps they take because they have come to understand through their years of experience walking with God they have known that their decisions should not be their own but God's. Gal 2:20,21 CEV and Acts 9:6 KJV.
But an arrogant elder is a ravening wolf who does not spare the sheep 🐑 🐑 🐏 🐏 🐏.
Acts 20:28&29.
28Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. 29For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Speak the Truth of God's word out of love, every other words from your mouth will be truthful and not lies.
Ephesians 4:15.
Speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love".
Let love lead the way that we desire to lead.
As God is so we must be.
Matt 5:38.
Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
The worst error is to have and respect one aspect of God we teach often, God is a multifaceted Divine Holy Being.
God is not only a loving God, He is kind, He is just, He is Righteous, He is holy, also very very much compassionate and much more we can not perceive by our limited minds but are displayed every day towards us- Ps 19:1-5. Lam 3:22-23.
Let us not think that God is like us and thinks or evaluate things like us. Acts 17:29.
Ps 50:21 BSB.
You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face.
God is nothing like the idol that you created in your heart and of your self.
God can not be like us, rather we are the ones to be like Him because He is more than us and above us. John 3:31.
If we must be like God, we must be as perfect as our Heavenly Father is; and our righteousness exceeding that of the Pharisees which is hypocrisy.
Don't pretend to love while you hate and your fellow man disgusts you, hate the behaviors and don't hate the being who God created in His image and likeness.
"U can't throw away a used bathing water with the baby in it" as my people say in a proverb: common, that's not love or likeness - that's pure evil!
Love is indispensable.
1 Cor 12:31.
And yet I will show you the most excellent way.
Learn God's ways and that way is love.
Love conditions our hearts to be irreproachable before God. 1 John 3:21.
"Choose to love and see good things" that's my Uncle's advice to me.
