WHEN TO BE SILENT

1. Be silent - in the heat of
anger.
2. Be silent - when you don't
have all the facts.
3. Be silent - when you
haven't verified the story.
4. Be silent - if your words
will offend a weaker Person.
5. Be silent - when it is time
to listen.
6. Be silent - when you are
tempted to make light of
holy things.
7. Be silent - when you are
tempted to joke about sin.
8. Be silent - if you would be
ashamed of your word later.
9. Be silent - if your words
would convey the wrong
impression.
10. Be silent - if the issue is
none of your business.
11. Be silent - when you are
tempted to tell an outright lie.
12. Be silent - if your words
will damage someone else's reputation.
13. Be silent - if your words
will damage a friendship.
14. Be silent - when you are
feeling critical.
15. Be silent - if you can't
say it without screaming.
16. Be silent - if your words
will be a poor reflection
of your friends and family.
17. Be silent - if you may
have to eat your words
later.
18. Be silent - if you have
already said it more
than one time.
19. Be silent - when you are
tempted to flatter a
wicked person.
20. Be silent - when you are
supposed to be working
instead.

If you want to find God, it’s important to make God’s Word a habit. You can do this by getting into the Word every day. A really important step is to commit to reading your Bible regularly for a short period of time. Start with a commitment to read Scripture every day for a few weeks. While this is a great way to get started, you shouldn’t stop there. Jesus said, “If you continue My Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine” (John 8:31). It’s the long-term commitment to learning from Jesus and His Word that makes us His disciples. The more you read God’s Word, the easier it will be to hear God’s voice

*Whose Father is He?*

```A beggar came asking for food. I told him to come around to the back door and asked him to sit on floor while I went in a brought the left over food.

I brought him food & said, let's pray. Now repeat after me, "Our Father in heaven". He said, "Your Father in heaven". I said."No, say OUR Father in Heaven". He again said, "Your Father in Heaven"!!!

This Irritated me no end! I asked why do you say 'Your' father when I say 'Our' Father?'

He said, "Sir, it's like this. If I say Our Father, then we both become brothers. If we are brothers, you would invite me from the front door and not from back; you would ask me to sit on your dining table not on the floor; you'd also not give me stale food! Sir, somehow it's not possible that we are sons of the same father"!

He may be your Father, but he can't be OUR father!

Whose Father is He?

It took a beggar to teach me the truth!!!```
