Building Intimacy In Marriage - Pst. (Mrs)Luther.
One thing is needful in building intimacy in marriage.
A MESSAGE TO THE HUSBANDS.
That which is needful to a woman in marriage is fellowship. Woman generally succumb to a man who fellowship with her.
Three ways a man can fellowship with his wife;
1. Availability - if a man is not available to his wife, his wife will be open to deceit - Gen 3:1-5.
The ways by which a man can show availability to the wife is by;
A. By joining her in the kitchen - there are lot of things to be done in the kitchen when a woman is cooking. The man is ought to assist the wife while cooking. The company of the husband in the kitchen makes the work easier and faster and above all it makes the woman look younger and her age and not looking old.
B. School runs - Help the kids with bathing while she cooks for the kids.
C. Go out regularly, eat together and discuss.
2. Communication - The man should involve the woman in creative communication. Research has shown that women speak about five thousand words per day and men speaks one thousand words per day.
The man must engage the wife at all times.
- Discuss your career, - share your grievances in a light mode - don't be loud, be calm.
Call and text her when she's not around.
Make time to relax and gist together.
3. Kindness - Give her gifts. A woman's need is different from that of the family. The Man's money make the woman secure.
4. Let the wife know your assets - let your wife know your worth instead of keeping her in the dark. Men should confide in the wife.
5. Sacrifice your time for your wife without her asking.
6. Assist her in every way with things that can make her work easy...
