*Thirsty*
John 19:28 KJV
_"After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, *I thirst..*"_
NB: THE bible says knowing that all was now finished; _finality, achievement will be the original language_
The above implies that man's life, existence, Encounters and Destiny is targeted at a final Experience, what I call.., *I Thirst Experience*
No matter who you are and what you've acquired, as long as you are human, you cannot have satisfaction from anything in life unto you come to the *I thirst Experience* where you acknowledge that only God is the True source of Satisfaction and He intentionally wired us to see no satisfaction in anything else but Himself.
*I Thirst Experience*
_A must, a finality for Humanity! A means by which Humanity seeks Divinity in sincerity and deep intimacy!_
This was what David longed for when he cried in Ps. 42. At this point, he wasn't a Shepherd boy, he wasn't faced against Goliath, he wasn't chased by Saul here; what then made him thirsty to the point of crying out??
It was Humanity finding Sincere Satisfaction alone in Intimacy with Divinity.
Hear what he says in vs 2 of Ps. 42 *_"My soul thirsts for God, for the living God; When shall I appear before God. "_*
And of JESUS *John 19:28* the Son of God, at this point Son of man also; He cried... *" I thirst "* Note, this JESUS is:
1. The one who said come unto me all he that labour and I will give you rest, he is rap in flesh dying in the hands of sinful men now needs a drink
2. The one John talked about : In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God now said I thirst
3. He is the one who said He was Jacob's well how can Jacob's well be dry.
4. The one who separated light from darkness now needs a drink
5. The one who said heaven is my throne and earth is my footstool said I thirst
How can He be thirsty, how can water needs a drink?😳
please note; *It was HUMANITY crying out for DIVINITY*
Sir, ma.. I thirst!😫
I thirst to be united with Him forever
I thirst to Praise & Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth
I thirst
I thirst to be free from this world of sin and death
I thirst to be clothed with His Righteousness, and Glory
I thirst! I thirstðŸ˜
