CRACKING THE ECONOMIC CODE OF Matthew 6.33

Matthew 6.33 is a very popular and powerful verse of scripture. It says: "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
It is usually interpreted to mean, "focus on evangelism and soul winning and all your material needs would be taken care of."
All well and good.
But....
Read in context, the verse is actually an economic prescription to an economic problem: financial worries and anxieties.
Matthew 6.31 says," Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?"
Food, drink and clothes are economic issues.
What's the solution?
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
So....
In context, Jesus prescribed Matthew 6.33 as a solution to anxieties and worries from material things.
This verse therefore carries an economic code because it was given to address an economic problem.
It gives us an economic formula or blueprint for terminating financial worries.
It says....
Seek first this stuff, then that other stuff would be taken care of.
The key to cracking the code in this verse is the phrase "kingdom of God"
So....
If we can crack the code of "the kingdom of God" locked up in this verse then we can have the key to the world of economic dominion.
What's the Kingdom of God?
The kingdom of God is about the influence, will, and purpose of God for man......people.
The kingdom of God is about man......people.
Jesus died to bring salvation to man.....people.
Everything God does on the earth is about man......people.
So.....
We can say that......the Kingdom of God on the earth is about PEOPLE.
Again.....
The kingdom of God is about God's agenda for people.
Now, let's read Matthew 6.33 from this perspective....
But seek ye first God's agenda for people......and all these things shall be added unto you.
Reframed.....
But seek ye first God's agenda for people and your worries about food, drink and clothes shall be taken care of.
Reframed....
But seek ye first God's agenda for people......and material things will no longer be an issue to you.
Reframed....
But seek ye first God's agenda for people......and you will enter into economic dominion.
The natural question that follows is....
What is God's agenda for people?
The No.1 agenda of God for people is a relationship with Him through His Son.
That's No.1
But....
That's not all!
There are other things on the mind of God for humanity.
3 John 2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
God is concerned about the total WELL-BEING of PEOPLE and not just their salvation.
He wants them saved. Very important.
But....
He also wants them WELL.
God is concerned about the holistic well-being of people.
*Health
*Security
*Education
*Marital well-being
*Family
*Finances
*Career
*Business
*Mental wellbeing
*Food
*Shelter
*Clothing
*Progress
*Safe maternal delivery
*Recovery from illness
*Clean environment
Etc
Progress in science, technology and medicine are expressions of God's interest in the well-being of people.
God is very clearly concerned about the WELL-BEING of people.
In other words....
The kingdom of God also involves the WELL-BEING of people.
So....
Let's read Matthew 6.33 again with this light...
But seek ye first THE WELL-BEING of people......and all these things shall be added unto you.
This means that the key to your economic dominion is your seeking the WELL-BEING of people.
So....
If you want economic dominion, if you want to move beyond the realm of having worries about material things, then...
Seek ye first THE WELL-BEING of people......and all these things shall be added unto you.
You want to move beyond the realm of perpetual worries about house rent?
Then.....
Seek ye first THE WELL-BEING of people......
You want to terminate the annual and cyclical prayer points about children school fees?
Then.....
Seek ye first THE WELL-BEING of people......
Matthew 6.33 is therefore the golden key to terminating financial worries.
Seek ye first THE WELL-BEING of people......and all your own financial worries would be taken care of.
How???
Through products and services.
Seek ye first how to create, sell, distribute or market products and services that take care of the well-being of people......and all these things shall be added unto you.
Work in a company that is committed to taking care of the well-being of people......and all these things shall be added unto you.
Become passionate about taking care of the well-being of people.......and all these things shall be added unto you.
*Unleash your creativity and intellectual horse power to take care of the well-being of people.....and all these things shall be added unto you.*
Pursue ideas that are devoted to the well-being of people......and all these things shall be added unto you.
Matthew 6.33 carries the greatest economic code on the earth.
The legitimately richest people in the world have all cracked the Matthew 6.33 code without probably even knowing it.
They're all providing products of services that are taking care of the well-being of people.....and of course....the natural consequence is that they have material things being added to them as a result.
Money is no respecter of persons. It is a reaction. It responds to anyone who is committed to the well-being of humanity.
Ecc 5:9 Moreover the profit of the earth is for all: the king himself is served by the field.
So.....
Look at the spectrum of human well-being. Then match your passion, time, talent, creativity to a specific area of human well-being and you can be sure that......all these things shall be added unto you.
The economic code of Matthew 6.33 is the reason why someone may be an addicted soul winner and still be struggling to eat and pay his bills.....if he's not involved in products and services that improve the well-being of people.
