There is no alternative to a genuine Christian life.

Purity cannot be overemphasized.

See it this way: If PURITY = POWER,
Then the POWER that was spoken about in John 1:12 is purity.

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." — John 1:12

The power to become sons is not talk. It is purity. No purity, no becoming.

That is why we are fasting. For purging. So we can obtain grace to become and grow as sons.

We are saying God is able to make all grace abound toward you. Including the grace that teaches us live righteously in the present world.

Don't listen to naysayers. God is able to save you from sin. That is why we call him Able God.

But the Bible is clear: "With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles." 2 Chronicles 32:8
