Your pastor is a gift from God, called to feed, guide, and watch over your soul. Honouring your pastor isn’t just an act of kindness—it’s a biblical principle that brings blessing into your life and strengthens the church. Here are 10 ways you can show honour and appreciation:

(1) Pray for Them Regularly

Cover your pastor and their family in prayer. Ask God to strengthen them, protect them, and give them fresh vision.

(2) Speak Well of Them

Guard your words. Refuse to join gossip or criticism. Instead, build them up with your speech—both publicly and privately.

(3) Support Their Vision

Get involved in the work God has laid on their heart. Serve faithfully and help carry the load.

4 CATEGORY OF PEOPLE OR SET OF PEOPLE IN CHURCH!

This for we upcoming Pastors to know,
Church Ministry is dynamic and never think that you own the church, or it's people. So let this sink in you that you don't own the people. So don't try to be Lord over them. It is God who owns the people. You are just a vessel that God uses to shepherd his people. Don't ever forget that.

In each and every church you will find four (4) kinds of people which are:

i. Sons/Daughters
ii. Visitors
iii. Parasites
iv. Helpers

TODAY I WILL TALK ON SONS AND DAUGHTER FOR THE CHURCH

Sons and Daughters are those people who were raised in your ministry by the Gospel you preach. They don't go anywhere, they are with you till Jesus comes or till death. Sons and daughters are not members who decided to be your church members. No. They are the people who were born by the message you preach. If you "cut their hearts" you will see the Gospel you preach flowing in them. They might have come as members at first, but through continual listening and participating in the gospel you preach they got born by that gospel and now they are sons/daughters. They don't follow other preachers, they don't follow the voice of strangers but they follow you as a God given pastor to them. True sons and daughters don't follow interdenominational Ministries, they stay in their church. They maintain the one voice that Jesus gave to them (Ephesian 4:11). Those who come to your church and also feature in many Interdenominational groups are still not yet sons and daughters so don't worry about them. Let them be. But you focus on your sons and daughters

*CAN A CHRISTIAN DRINK ALCOHOL?*

When a European Airline was initially launched, an educated Christian gentleman was traveling in the first class section.
An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink, but the man politely refused.
The air hostess returned but this time brought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress. However, the Christian man again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol.
The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers. He questioned, “Is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer.”
The man replied, “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol? The manager still insisted that the man take the drink. Then, the Christian proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first. The manager stated, “How can the pilot drink alcohol, he’s on duty! And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash”.
The Christian passenger with tears in his eyes, replied, *“I am a Christian and I am ALWAYS on duty in order to protect my salvation and if I Drink Alcohol I will crash my whole life here and hereafter. I AM 100% ON DUTY!"*
Maybe yours might not be an alcohol, it may be casual s*x, battling with how to control your anger, Pride, profane and vain babblings, your dressing , your attitude towards people and finally not sharing the Word.
Do you know that souls are dying because of those reckless behaviours of yours?
