*MARRY YOUR MATE* By Kionionnia wit Apostle Joshua Selman.

*6 MATES YOU MUST MARRY*

One of the ways your marriage will not add to the rate of divorce in our world today is for you to marry your mate and if you are married already, make your spouse your mate!
You see that statement of ' Am I your mate?' does not apply in marriage. You must marry your mate. I will like to talk on seven dimensions you and the person you want to marry or you have married must be mate.

1. *MARRY_YOUR_SPEAKING_MATE* Marry someone you can speak together and understand each other. Communication is very crucial in marriage. Don't marry someone that, when you are saying 'A' he or she will be saying ' Z' Once there is dichotomy in your speaking and understanding level, you can't enjoy that marriage. So many men go to bar to hang out with friends and gist till 11pm because they know their wives can't engage in any meaningful intellectual discussion. So many women too prefer to hang out with their friends, because they know their husbands mentality when it comes to vital issues and discussions is very low. Marry your speaking Mate.

2. *MARRY_YOUR_SCHOOL_MATE*
By this I mean, marry someone you can learn together and improve together. Don't marry ' Mr Know all' or 'Miss Know all'. Don't marry someone who is rigid and not open to new ideas, new ways of doing things, or new innovations. Marriage is a great institution. From day one till death do you part, you will keep learning. Marry your 'school' mate; someone who is ready to learn with you.

3. *MARRY_YOUR_SPIRITUAL_MATE*: Marriage is not just a social union. It is also a spiritual union. Marry someone who knows the same God you know. Don't marry someone who's believe of God is different from yours. Two can't work together except they be agreed ( Amos 3:3, Joshua 23: 11-15, 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). The spiritual controls the physical, even in marriage. Check for spiritual compatibility in that person you want to marry.

4. *MARRY_YOUR_SPENDING_MATE* Don't marry someone who is stingy. There are so many expenses to cater for in marriage. A stingy guy in courtship won't suddenly become a generous husband in marriage. Don't marry a lady that has the financial philosophy of ' My husband's money is our money, but my money is my money'. Marry someone who believes in dignity of labour , who is ready to work, not a lazy fellow who just want to be a consumer and not a contributor. Marry someone who is ready to spend and be spent for the growth and success of the family.

5. *MARRY_YOUR_SEX_MATE* Marry someone you have s*xual feelings for. S*xual feeling is not a sin. It is an instinct God put in every person. S*x plays a major role in the success of any marriage. Any man you don't have emotional feelings for, don't marry the person. If you don't have emotional feelings for that lady, leave her alone. A spiritual being is also a s*xual being. No matter how spiritual you both may be in your marriage, you won't be praying for 24 hours in a day. You won't be reading the Bible or worshipping God 24/7. You will have s*x! You will romance! You will flirt with each other! You will make babies. So, marry someone you can connect with s*xually. It will help you to enjoy your marriage so much!

6. *MARRY_YOUR_SOCIAL_MATE*: Don't marry someone you won't be proud to go out with. Don't marry someone you will be feeling shy to introduce to people with boldness. Marry someone you are comfortable to hang out with. Marry someone you are socially compatible with. Don't marry an anti- social person.
You might be wondering if you can find all the 'mates' in one person. Yes! The answer is YES! You don't need to marry 6 guys/ladies to have all these mates. One person can be all that for you. If you also work on yourself and build your life, you can be all that for the guy/lady that will marry you.
The promise of God for you is this : 'Seek and read from the book of the LORD: Not one of these shall be missing; none shall be without her mate. For the mouth of the LORD has commanded, and his Spirit has gathered them.' (Isaiah 34:16).
Say it loud and clear ' I shall not lack a mate!'
I hope this blessed someone reading?

"Iron sharpens iron. So, look for the kind of
person that sharpens you. Beware who you call
your friend.
Friendship is by choice and not by force. And
friendship is not for fun.
In the late 70's and early 80's, when believers met each other, their mode of greeting was,
'How are you, brother? Have you heard about the
Welsh revival? Did you read about Evan Roberts?
I saw something in 'Herald of His Coming' that
just shook me. I read something about Smith
Wigglesworth. Did you hear that John Hyde stained the walls of his room with the breath of
his prayer? I read that Maria Woodworth Ether
was approaching a place to preach and fifty
miles from the place where she was, people
were falling under the anointing..."
Those were the kinds of things we said to each other. When you heard it, it set you ablaze. Your
friend might say to you, 'When I read that, I
locked up myself for ten hours. I did not come
out'. And you look at him, 'You said how many
hours? I will see you later!' You just go into the
room and lock yourself up: 'What! What am I doing with my life?' And you
go on and on.
That was how we sharpened each other in those
days. Iron sharpeneth iron!
We learned of William Booth of the Salvation
Army. We learned of Charles G. Finney riding a horse through town and everyone was crying for
his or her sins...
We read of D.L Moody: They said, 'God is looking
for a man to use, and he is looking for a man
that will not care who takes the glory.' D.L.
Moody, a shoe maker, said, 'By the grace of God, I will be that man'...
When you read that, it sets you on fire. And if
you heard it from someone who read it from
somewhere and shared it with you, you would
be sharpened. That was how we sharpened each
other. Today,it is different. When two pastors meet,
you hear things like, 'Pastor, how is the church
building?
Have you finished it now? I like this neck tie of
yours; where did you buy it from? This
wristwatch is powerful! Who helped you to get this car? Can you assist me to get the car also? I
like it! Your suit is powerful. Is it ready-made or
someone sewed it? Who is your barber? I like the
way you cut your hair.'
These the vanities believers discuss these days -
things of no eternal consequences. It is very rare before you can come into the presence of a
servant of God and leave edified. We rarely hear
that a person went to see a man of God, a real
man of God and left there challenged, with his
soul set on fire.
It is very very rare. My heart yearns for those days...
A brother would read a book that changed his
life and he would share the inspiration: Have you
seen Smith Wigglesworth 'Apostle of Faith'? You
need to read it. John G. Lake's 'Adventure in
God'? You need to read it. Leonard Ravenhill's 'Why Revival Tarries'? 'S***m had no Bible'?
What about E.M. Bounds 'The Power of Prayer'?
Charles Spurgeons 'His Power in Us'? E.W
Kenyon's 'Two Kinds of Faith'?, A.W Tozer's 'In
Pursuit of God'? Oswald J. Smiths 'The Man God
Uses'? Those were qualitative materials that we
advertised and used to change our lives...
My wife and I visited Papa Oyedepo in his office.
He was reading a book and he asked whether I
had read it before. I said, 'No'. So, he encouraged
me to go and read it. The reading shifted us.
Who is it that is sharpening you? Who are the
people around you sharpening your life?
Please, watch your company. Some pastors had
more fire until they entered the circle of friends
they are in today. Watch the persons you call friends. Iron sharpens iron. Nothing sharpens
iron like iron."
Dr. Paul Enenche
Please,share.

FULFILLING YOUR DESTINY MANDATE..
Every child of God is born of God, and whatever that is born of God overcomes the world. The destiny of every child of God is to display the glory of God in this perverse generation, the Bible talks about gross darkness will cover the earth. Isaiah 60-2.
Your destiny has an uncommon mandate and that mandate is manifesting the glory of the Lord. Your contribution to God's kingdom is what makes you a champion on the earth. When you use every available resources you have to establish and extend the territories of God's kingdom then you are a wise child of God. In this series of teaching I will be sharing the principles of exploit with you as regards your destiny mandate.
1.Do not under estimate your giftings- The gifts and the call of God are without repentance. Rom 11-29.One of the most powerful resources you receive at redemption is the birth of gifts of grace and callings. As a child of destiny you have been given gifts to function as kings and priests, the understanding you have about your giftings and the faith you apply to it will take you through an uncommon journey and establish you on the platform of exploit. Know your gifts, study your gifts, use your gifts, relate with Christian brothers that use their gifts to glorify God and establish God's kingdom. If you do not use your gift the kingdom will not expand, use it to serve the body of Christ, use it to win those that are lost, use it to establish faith of the feeble Christian, manifest the gifts of grace and magnify Jesus through your giftings and it shall be well with you. There was a story I heard several years ago of an Evangelist that received the prompting of the Holy Spirit to go into a remote forest and preach about Jesus. He obeyed God's voice and preached and gave altar call with no one in the forest to respond to the altar call of salvation .He returned back to his house, several years later,he went to preach for another great man of God and was sharing his experience in complying to God's instruction. The host pastor began to cry and said during the time you were leading the altar call, I was in the same forest about to commit su***de because of the pressure of life. I responded to that altar call ,though heard the voice but saw no one. The Evangelist also began to cry and thank the Lord for obeying the voice of the Lord. Do not underestimate your gift and the instruction of the Holy Spirit, use your gifts for God Whether people appreciate it or not.
This morning the Lord will open your understanding and grant you courage to fulfil the mandate of your destiny in Jesus name.
