Divine Involvement - The Jacob Story

Even though Jacob was working very hard, though he was faithful, he still was not getting the desired result.

Getting the desired result in life sometimes is not a function of doing all the right things that you need to do, but certainly, by getting God to be Divinely involved in whatever endeavor we discerned we are ordained to do.

The man his four friends dropped in front of Jesus... Mathew 9

The man by the pool of Bethesda. John 5

The woman bent double. Luke 13

They all must have tried something; many alternatives before they decided to try King Jesus, Lord, and Saviour.

In fact in the case of the woman with issues of blood, the Bible confirms she had suffered at the hands of many physicians, and lost all she had, but she never got better... Eventually, she decided to try Jesus.

Isaiah 54:15-17 KJV
Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake. [16] Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy. [17] No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. Divine Involvement - The Jacob Story

Even though Jacob was working very hard, though he was faithful, he still was not getting the desired result.
