Guiding Light Assembly (GLA) was established in 1985, GLA has one simple vision- to build leader who will go out and change our world. The founding pastor, an U.S Diplomat, opened his home on Sundays and Tuesdays for Service & Study he was transferred to a different post shortly after. Guiding Light Started as a congregation of 5 ppl & soon grew to 50 members at which time they outgrew the Diplomat's living room

As we step into September, what has God already said about what you're facing?

Sometimes “pray about it” has to become more than asking God for an answer.

The Word gives us something to stand on, but faith has to bring it out of the sheath.

So as you enter this new month, don't just pray about what you're facing. Search the Word. Find what God has said. Stand on it. Speak it. Live it.

Day 3 | Final Day of Prayer & Fasting 🙏🏽

Today, we conclude our three days of fasting and prayer as we continue to stand in the gap for the children and youth.

Today’s prayer points call us to ask God to draw the young to Himself, remove distractions and hindrances, awaken a hunger for His presence and Word, and bring healing, rest and freedom to those who are hurting.

Let’s come together at 6:00 PM on Zoom to pray together and break our fast.

Today, we joined Mr. Adeduro Ademola and his family, alongside their loved ones and well-wishers, as they gave thanks to God for the gift of 50 years.

A beautiful milestone, a grateful heart, and a testimony of God’s faithfulness through the years. 🤍

Happy 50th birthday, Mr. Adeduro Ademola! We pray for many more years filled with God’s grace, joy, good health and purpose.

Our last Sunday of August. 🙌🏾

What a beautiful time together at GLA — worshipping, praying, receiving the Word, and simply being together as a family.

Today, Pastor Adeolu shared on “The Spirit of Fear,” reminding us that fear doesn't have to dictate how we live when we know the One who holds us.

From heartfelt worship to joyful moments with one another, we’re grateful for another Sunday together.

This is church. This is family. This is GLA. ❤️

Tomorrow, we begin our 3 Days of Fasting & Prayer. 🙏🏽

As we prepare to seek God together, take some time today to go through the prayer points and Scriptures. Let them guide your prayers as we enter these three days with intentional hearts.

🕕 6:00 PM daily — We gather to pray and break the fast. Tomorrow, we will break the fast together after the Sunday Celebration Service.
