Text: Mark 10:46–52

Introduction
What is a turnaround, and what makes it great?

A turnaround is a change from bad to good — a divine reversal of situations.
What makes it great is when the change exceeds all human expectations.

The man at the Beautiful Gate expected alms as usual. But that day, help came from above. He received far more than he asked — strength entered his feet, and he walked, leaped, and praised God. He was never lame again (Acts 3:1–10).

Today, it is your turn if you can do like Bartimaeus in our Bible reading.
1. Sit on the highway where Jesus can notice you. Position yourself where divine attention can locate you. Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus, and Jesus noticed him and blessed both him and his household (Luke 19:1–10).
Don’t stay hidden in discouragement; take a bold step of faith.

2. Be attentive to seize every opportunity.
Bartimaeus heard that Jesus was passing by — he was alert and ready for a miracle.
“When the Lord is available, don’t miss your moment. "Remember, “Once has God spoken; twice have I heard this, that power belongs to God” (Psalm 62:11).
Your miracle may come quietly; stay spiritually alert.

3. Open your mouth in prayer, praise, and thanksgiving. Bartimaeus cried out to Jesus, not silently but loudly: “Jesus, thou Son of David, have mercy on me!”
When you lift your voice in prayer and praise, heaven responds.
Don’t keep quiet when your breakthrough is within reach.

4. Do not be intimidated by the crowd.
The crowd tried to silence Bartimaeus, but he cried out even louder.
Never let people, fear, or your past stop you.
No prayer is too big for God to answer.
Your persistence shows your faith.

5. Do not pray amiss.
Be specific and focused in your request.
The impotent man at Bethesda was full of excuses (John 5:1–9), but Bartimaeus went straight to the point — “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”

Topic: CHRISTOCRACY

Text: John 3:10–16

Introduction

Unlike democracy, Christocracy is the government of the people, for Christ, and by Christ.

There is always a form of government ruling the life of man. From the beginning, God was the head and ruler of man (Genesis 1:27–28). However, Adam and Eve rejected the truth and embraced the lie of Satan (Genesis 3:1–6).

The Fall and the Rise of False Government

Satan is a murderer and the father of lies (John 8:44). His rebellion introduced confusion, deceit, and death into human nature.

Then came a government under the Law, given through Moses with the Ten Commandments (John 1:17).

The Law was given because of the evil in man’s heart—to reveal sin—but it could not save man.

The beginning of Christocracy

Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17–18). God declared Jesus as the Truth and the Light of the world.

Isaiah foretold this in Isaiah 9:6–7:

> “And the government shall be upon His shoulder... Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end.”

This is Christocracy—a divine order where Christ rules with peace, truth, and righteousness.

The Contrast: Democracy vs. Christocracy

In these last days, democracy is full of wars, hatred, deceit, pride, betrayal, and moral decay (2 Timothy 3:1–4).

Such a system can rightly be called “Periliocracy”—a government of the people, for Satan, and by Satan.
But in Christocracy, Jesus rules and brings light to overcome darkness.

> John 3:12 – “If I have told you earthly things and you believe not, how shall you believe if I tell you heavenly things?”
John 8:12 – “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but shall have the light of life.”

Let us look at Jesus and His Government (Christocracy)

To the sinner, He is the Saviour (Matthew 1:21).

To the hungry, He is the Bread of Life (John 6:35).

To the lost, He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6).

To the sick, He is the Balm of Gilead (Jeremiah 8
