*WHAT IS CHRISTMAS?*
Christmas which means a Mass of Christ *(Which sometimes called Communion )* is a Christian Holiday that celebrates the birth of Jesus Christ who Christians believe is the Son of God .
Note that the meaning of the gift giving to us by God is Jesus Christ..
*WHY DO WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS?*
We celebrate Christmas as an important day of worship and Remembrance ,out of the love for mankind ,God sent his son to the earth knowing what lie ahead of him so we can be redeemed...
*IMPORTANCE OF CHRISTMAS*
Christmas is important because it is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,The son of God who came to redeem all man kind and call them to himself. On that day, God sent his son to become a man on Earth in order that one day he would become the payment for the sins of the world,past, present and future. Christmas is a day of Remembrance and worship...
There are so many important but we say few..
*1. REMEMBER CHRIST WAS BORN*
Jesus birth was the biggest step in God's plan of redemption . On Christmas we get to celebrate the beginning of knowing what is to come.
*"For God so loved the world that He gave his only son,That whosoever believe in him shot not perish but have eternal life"*
God did not send his son into the world to be condemn but in order that the world might be saved through him.
*2. REMEMBER GOD PROMISE WAS FULFILLED*
In Genesis 12,God makes a covenant with Abraham promising he would make his name great ,Father to many nation's and bless him so he could be a blessings to others.
Jesus was the fulfillment of that promise . (Genesis 12 verse 1 - 3).
*3. REMEMBER HIS GENEROSITY*
The reason we give gifts at Christmas time is because of the gift Christ first gave to us. Christ gave generously and by giving generously to the less fortunate we can reflect him in our lives and one of the ways that we can do this is by caring for others..
*4. REMEMBER FAMILY TIME*
Christmas brings family together,even from Faraway and provides time to connect.
We should enjoy that,Take time to connect and we should remember to keep Christ in the center and never forget what brought us together..
Celebrate Christ with your Family,thank God for this special time where you connect with your family...
*5. REMEMBER TO WORSHIP*
At the end of the day ,we are called to worship make that your goal this Christmas.
Make him your focus in Everything you do this season. Live Your Life in a posture of worship and give glory to the one who gave you the gift no one else could ... *Purifying Gift*
